Anne is making great progress. Her eye contact, social interactions, vocalizations and attempts to communicate are increasing every vlog. The fact that she's internalized the meanings of Spanish words is an indication that her receptive language is growing. "Reception precedes Expression" is an old school saying in Speech Therapy circles. When she calls you "Mommy" it makes my heart sing.
I’m a SPED teacher and I have a AU student who is a GENUIS ! Especially when it comes to anything involving numbers. Anne reminds me of him. She is sooo smart! Can’t wait to see her continue to grow and flourish!
MsVaughn, first let me say I love your channel and how it has evolved over time! Thank you so very much for putting together and sharing such high quality videos across a wide range of content. I just wanted to raise my hand and say, however many hours of braid content you have, I just binge-watched it all last night to get myself ready for an install. I suppose tutorials can be that way…We take them for granted until we need them. If you never do another one, we definitely have plenty to refer back to, but please don’t stop because you are the G.O.A.T.!

Sis... I kept my daughter in the cart until I was comfortable with her being out of it. I didn't let anybody put an age limit for me. At one point, I would bring the cart to my SUV so she could step out of the car and directly into the back of the cart, because she was too big for me to pick up. My sister (who is not as calm, cool, and collected as I am) taught me how to deal with the on-lookers. LOL They don't know what we go through on a daily basis.
Yup my baby boy is 5 & I still put him in the cart. Just yesterday I went 2 different Targets, only because I forgot something at the first one. He was in a cart at the first one but I didn’t put him in a cart the second trip because it was supposed to be quick and he ended up running away from me at one point and my older son and myself had to find him. And of course he ended up where the video games were and had a meltdown because I wouldn’t get him the one he wanted. Plus the self-checkout line was super long so I had to deal with the meltdown through the line, even with him having my phone 😩 Won’t be doing that again.

Hello Vaughn, You are the very FIRST natural hair youtuber that I watched since 2018 on my natural hair journey. I have an autistic son Sebastian and he is 6yrs old and you are correct Anne does know Spanish. My son in non-verbal and watches you tube and he has a high interest in numbers and languages such as Portugese, Spanish, French, Mandarin and some other language I do not even known. LOL. Be careful with refinancing your home, you have to consider closing costs that could be upwards of $5,000… so you want to pay $5K+ of closing costs vs. just paying down your principle? Sometimes a lower interest rate isn’t worth what you spend in fees/closing costs.
VAUGHN, with Anne running off you can do two things to make it less stressful. My god child is autistic. So you can use a child lead to attach to the cart, your wrist etc and then to her waist or wrist so she can only walk but so far. Second, you should get a customized bracelet on Etsy for her arm with her name, it says she’s autistic and your cell number so if she’s lost and someone finds her they can contact you. Hope these ideas help you.

Hi Vaugh, I do have a question for you guys. Do you guys apply the extra money to your principal of your mortgage? I did learn about when we purchased our manufacture home back in 96. You have such a beautiful home. We are thinking about building, but we love this house and we are in our mid 50’s and we have started remodeling this house. So so love your vlogs. Blessings!🥰
We are still dealing with the same issue with our son and he’s 7 yrs old.. I pray it gets better soon because it is stressful. Sometimes when we have to do grocery store runs, either me or my husband will go while our son stays home because it can be a big production.
In the UK 🇬🇧 some parents use a 'harshness' not sure if I'm using the correct terminology. It allows the child to be free to explore but with some sense of control. Some people don't like using it, but if it frees up your hands in a way, but also give the child the opportunity to do what is natural to them in a safe control way, then I'm here for it, but then it's only a suggestion 🤔😀. May I ask, with regards to the closing of the house, could you clarify if the mortgage is closed on the house, (owning the house) or is it a refinance with a hope to close on the house later on? I asked because the title is a little confusing.... Love the picnic and that there's a designated park for dogs to run freely 👏🏽👏🏽 ❤.✌🏿
Girl I tried it with my then two year old in the airport with suitcases. His Godmother came to pick us up. She saw that on him and got mad. Took it off and threw it to the floor. I understand her anger. But coming all the way from Germany by myself was my only means of security of not losing my child.
Vaughan I know exactly how you feel, it’s a new transition but continue to prompt and coach Anne and explain to her she has to stay with mommy, get advice from some other parents in autism support groups on how they managed and some of the techniques to use. Running 🏃🏽♀️ is a developmental disability in Autism as is flipping the hands, dietary differences and trouble sleeping 🛌. Stay determined, prayers are with you, love you, I lost my son at Mardi Gras in New Orleans among thousands of people. Girl I will finish that story whenever I meet you in person.
I still put my 7 year old in the cart. And he’s 4’7”. I have a bad knee, and will soon need a knee replacement and can’t chase and catch him in the store. 🤦🏽♀️

Wow! Well clearly I've been missing out on Burlington's! 🙀
I love how you make the sandals look ao chic! Are they tevas?
Where is your bed from, I love it.
Family time. I love it! Anne is the cutest!! Have you tried using the child safety harness/wrist link with Anne?
Girl I tried it with my then two year old in the airport with suitcases. His Godmother came to pick us up. She saw that on him and got mad. Took it off and threw it to the floor. I understand her anger. But coming all the way from Germany by myself was my only means of security of not losing my child.
@@buttafly591 I understand completely but when traveling alone you have to take precautions.
@@consciousoftheculture994 Better that than him wondering off. 😱
Your hair looks amazing and thank you for the vlogs🤎🤎🤎
@mzvaughntv, I’m not sure if you’ve ever addressed this, but have you guys considered ASL as a form of communication?
Vaughan I know exactly how you feel, it’s a new transition but continue to prompt and coach Anne and explain to her she has to stay with mommy, get advice from some other parents in autism support groups on how they managed and some of the techniques to use. Running 🏃🏽♀️ is a developmental disability in Autism as is flipping the hands, dietary differences and trouble sleeping 🛌. Stay determined, prayers are with you, love you,
I lost my son at Mardi Gras in New Orleans among thousands of people. Girl I will finish that story whenever I meet you in person.
Yes ma'am to the fresh flowers in the bathroom. 5.00 from Walmart! The perfect small bunch of 💐
You're spoiling us with these vlogs, Vaughn! We absolutely love you and the family bam! ESPECIALLY....SANSA!!!🤩😍
We love you Anne!!!
I still put my 7 year old in the cart. And he’s 4’7”. I have a bad knee, and will soon need a knee replacement and can’t chase and catch him in the store. 🤦🏽♀️
I just appreciate you, your family and channel. God bless you!
So excited to see a new video!!!
