Watching yours Norms and Ayo's channels is what got me back into fishing. After I got into sobriety I wasn't sure what to do with my spare time because all my free time up till that point was spent trying to get loaded. Then I was scrolling through RUclips and came across a video with you and Norm doing a fishing challenge and started going fishing again after that. Thank you for renewing my love of fishing and thank you for all the great content and wish you the best. You still better keep putting out new content or I'll be bummed

I’ve been watching since 2019. I really appreciate you, Ayo, Norm, Trey, and Smalls. I’ve had to relearn how to fish once my son started to show interest a few years ago. I’ve learned a lot from y’all. The way you looked up to the google squad is how my son views you. He wants the same gear, the same bait, and has even started videoing himself and his little brother fishing. As a father of 5, I appreciate the positive content. Thanks for all you do!

Hey yak I just wanted to let you know that you were the reason I really got into fishing I have some bad medical problems and it is one of the only things that I can still do that doesn’t make me uncomfortable and hurt it’s so relaxing and I just wanted to let you know that no matter what happens I will be with the yak pack till the end you have helped me in realizing that there is so much more then being stuck in my house I just wanted to say man thank you for everything you have helped me feel enjoyment in life again just stay strong man and know that this just gives you the opportunity to start your own company with no restrictions yak pack you have such a big opportunity for yourself just make sure to not miss out and make sure to enjoy the little things because the time spent won’t be able to be gotten back but the memories will last a life time

Hey yak. Just want to say my son and I are OG followers .. been here for a long time. We were at the public lands meet up and were first in line and drove over 5+ hours just to meet y’all. That day my son and I talked about starting our own channel and a year later had GoPros to do so. Moral of the story. We will be here to support you no matter what… big things are bound to happen. I hopped off the Googan train mid last year.. When AYO and Norm left I didn't think too much of it, I get that business is business. Then summer of last year my Finesse rod broke out of the blue. It was well within the Warranty period, and ended up being a nightmare to even attempt a warranty claim. Just kind of decided if the product isn't what its supposed to be, and its not supporting the people I like.. I'll just spend my money elsewhere.
They're really down to Jon B. Lojo has been riding the RUclips Analytical downslope for the past couple of years and I don't think even with his subcount that he'll bring substantial viewership in the future, and will likely fizzle out like we're seeing with a slew of the first generation YTers.

90% of the googan content I’ve watched has been you, ayo, and norm. Not speaking bad on the rest of the guys, they make some good content. But the three of you all, in my opinion, have the most entertaining fishing content on RUclips. I’ve even had people who don’t fish tell me they enjoyed y’all’s videos while we were hanging out drinking with your videos coming up on RUclips(when hanging out, I don’t put movies or music on the tv, I just let RUclips stream. That’s just how I roll.)
I loved the collab with Larry. Man so many great catches over the years! A few years ago, you helped me with some bait colors for my first trip to Rayburn. The Blue Baby did work, so thank you, and can’t wait to see what’s next!

i get that feeling to googan has $$ signs in their eyes. i comment on their videos and never get anything back, yakpak always replies back and interacts with his subs. yakpak is the real deal downto earth dude

I used to watch you a lot a few years ago, not sure you were full time yet or not, i think you were still in the military!!! But this video popped up and seeing how far you have came from then is pretty amazing!! I love filming and fishing and put a lot of time into it..I feel lucky and blessed that I have a couple guys who I colab with and fish with a lot, Alex Rudd and Creek Fishing Adventures, im able to take notes from them and they have helped me grow a ton!!

To be honest you, April, Trey and Ayo and Norm are waaaaay more entertaining than the Googan guys. Y'all have personality and you all work great together. Be like Milliken and make your own brand.

Totally understandable TJ. Honestly from a viewer perspective, I could pick up the changes going on behind the scenes probably over the past 1.5 years and not just your channel either. I felt like at one point, the whole crew (you, Norm, AYO, LOJO, Dev, etc) was on fire and freaking unstoppable. Hilarious collabs left and right and everyone having a blast and that really came through on the videos. But at some point, something changed even before the whole LOJO, Norm, AYO thing. To me, that era being over now is sad, I still watch everyone's content but it just hits different. To use a hip hop analogy, you guys together were like the freaking The Wu-Tang clan IMO, awesome talent by themselves but together they were a whole different beast. Stronger together than they could be apart. Sorry, kinda OT but I miss those old huge collab videos and that vibe.
Well LOJO had to sell his land, so they are probably hurting financially.

You made the right decision, the googan folks aren’t fun or funny. Only watched Lojo because of AYO, Norm you and Trey. Chemistry between the characters is what makes a good show. Stick with the real winners, AYO, NORM and TREy.

Being an army vet like you, I never had time to fish but the Googan Squad and all you guys before GS even started, motivated me to start fishing again. You guys went from nothing to everything and that kind of stress has a big effect on quality of life. I wish nothing but the best for all of you!! Good luck brother!

I never thought Googan was all they were cracked up to be. Their stuff is no better than many other brands . Norm you and Ayo make better video's than the Googan regulars. Lojo's video's suck since he doesn't have Ayo and Norm to carry him. Things will be better stick to what you do.
Definitely will miss the googan content , but as an adult myself we all learn in life that we stray away from things and as you said one door closes another door opens we all want to see each other eat even if we’re not at the same tables! Hope to see you continue to make content and do you’re own thing all true fans definitely felt this in our souls but will stay tuned for some just authentic yakpak content 💯💪🏽

Did the same as you never fished while in Hawaii (Big regret) but pick up a rod when I got back in Va and have been doing some good fishing while watch you along the way! Pretty cool. Man I miss Hawaii 😂.. 2012-2015 at Schofield. Did a lot of training with the Cobra pilots and Marine Forward Observers too. I’m actually trying to plan a trip for a week to go film there later this year
