Had an interview for Youth Staff on Royal Caribbean yesterday, got the job so hopefully I'll be joining a ship soon. This is really good to know what to take that's not the obvious things, would never had thought about a fitted sheet or calendar 😂 What's the luggage and storage situation for crew? Can you take more than one suitcase or would collapsible holdall be better? I can't imagine there's much space in the cabins for big suitcases.

I play and sing. Do you have solo acoustic performers? Can you tell me anything about the position? Also, I'm older. Do cruise lines hire older people or do they just focus on younger people because of the demands of the job?

I am going to embark on coming Monday 14th of February at Miami. This is my first time to be working on a cruiseship. Is it allowed to bring toiletries and medicines while travelling to USA. A little help would be really appreciated. Thanks

@@emmib1388 usually there’s a liquid limit with flying and last time I had a bottle a little smaller than that I was told I had to empty it hence my reluctance but I’ll try next time to put shampoo in the main check in

I don't fly much -- but I thought it was okay to include larger sizes in your checked baggage .... Yes they do but there isnt much choice. If you dont mind what brand of shampoo you use, then you can buy it onboard
