I think I have an idea of where this is leading up to at the moment: two major battles (one in Commoragh and one on Mars) that serve as key parts of the Emperor's plan, and a shift into the 8th edition content. The Ultramarines are heading toward Commorragh through the Webway to escort Jaghatai Khan out, when their original mission was to participate in a dance-off with the harlequins (no doubt that Magnus will complicate that part later). That will almost certainly turn into a rescue operation for Leman and the Fyod-peror. At the exact same time, Lady Malys _(who is clearly working with the harlequins and the Laughing God, by the way)_ and her cabal are in play, plotting a coup against Vect to take control of Commorragh. It seems clear that she'll make her move when the Ultramarines come knocking. And then there's the Deceiver's plan to kill Kaldor Draigo, using Lady Malys' arsenal. That'll likely prevent any sort of temporary alliance between Lady Malys' cabal and the Ultramarines (unless the Laughing God steps in). While all of that is going on, Kitten is being sent into a trap laid by the Fabricator General and Belisarius Cawl. With the Fabricator General dead at the hands of the Dark Angels chapter, however, the Proteus Protocol could revive him in short order and prove that he was using the technology this whole time to the rest of the Mechanicus, either forcing a change in leadership or causing another civil war in the Mechanicus. Depending on the outcome, technological progress in the Imperium could start to ramp back up at long last, especially if the Emperor has his way on the matter over the future of the Imperium's relationship with the Mechanicus. However, considering the binary translation that was done for Protean Politics in Episode 28.....I'm worried Kitten may have been marked for death. That eldar babe Khan has is from Saim-Hann. Fun fact: Amongst the Craftworlders, they are basically the fastest. Some DE groups have more speed, granted....but the Saim-Hann have bigger guns. They also control their rides with bonesinger-grown augmentics. However...these have likely overeated and been destroyed from overuse. and since they are in Comorragh, no replacements are coming. So She rides with Khan until they can get back home. Also, this means the Khan is doing better than GrandPapa Gold Smurf.
To explain, “ass blassum” is a reference to the card “ash blossom and joyous spring” Ash blossom is a card that is what is known as a hand trap, a card which can be activated from the hand in response to card effects. Basically, ash blossom and its kind are so meta-defining in modern yugioh, if your deck cannot play through hand traps, most competitive players will not even give it the time of day.

As much as I don't condone the actions of the corpse emperor, and also really wanted the dark elder to die, this episode really showed that the star child does indeed have a major, if illogical, weakness

2 things, firstly, the harlequins humour is a funny reflections of modern meme abstract and bizzare referential humor. Second, Asdrubael Vect's story is true from 40k lore, he was a young boy when the Eldar fell.
So I just noticed that when Vects city was falling apart a Dark Eldar let out a group of orks now they are going to make spores so now we are going to have orks running around Vects city and since most of the dark Eldar got turned to goo the orks are not going to be able to be stoped so even if Vect wins against the imperials he will not have enough numbers to take on the ork threat so he will lose no matter what happens unless we get some warp magic bull crap to save him

She, along with a few other super powered individuals get transported to the Warhammer 40k universe through Tzeench sorcerers in the 45th I think millenium, where Chaos has all but destroyed the Imperium but the wars have left everyone weakened for the Tyranids to steamroll everything (and since all life dying means no living things to power or even SUSTAIN chaos, they all starve to death). The last surviving Ultramarines interrupt that ritual, so that Taylor and the other superhumans get transported to the Imperium in the 35th millennium, sans any Chaos mind control, where they proceed to make everything better and a whole lot less grimdark. The other superhumans are Dragon, a superhero A.I. who is pretty much a tech whiz who can build all kinds of awesome stuff, but prefers dragon versions of Iron Man suits. She disguises herself as a tech priest. Clockblocker is a jokester who can freeze in time ANYTHING he touches for a random amount of time between 5-10 minutes. Yeah, I didn't think of that at the time. But in hindsight, there's no way the emperor isn't aware of what Vect was planning. If fully expect he'll mock how m with it at some point in ep30. 😁
Lest we forget, Ahriman was in the Black Library in an earlier episode, with his Rubrics. You know, Thousand Sons who were part of an experiment gone horribly wrong :D That would explain the Space Marines at the 5:00 mark
So the Emperor wanted Draigo to become the Emissary of Ynnead, if we go by what he said about having someone snatching the title back in ep 26.2 or 27 .... not sure its a good idea, but then again he did say the plan was entirely based on bad decisions ....so...
Wait... wow! I never even thought of that! So the emperor's plan was to make Draigo the Yvraine of TTS?? But... Draigo isn't an eldar. How can Ynnead possess a non-eldar in the same way he did Yvraine? Now I need to know! But episode 30 will take many more months to be released! And even then there's no guarantee that it's going to contain the continuation of the Commoragh plot (Alfa wrote somewhere in the video comments that everything will become more clear in ep 31)! Aaargh!
Kinda impressed and surprised that Airier referenced the Weaver Option, this fanfiction of Warhammer 40k crossed with Worm. In it they buff Lelith so that rather them being some Drukhari named character, shes actually an Eldar who fought in the War in Heaven and has survived to the 35th millennium without a scratch. Even though the MC, Taylor, is a Mary Sue on par with the Ultramarines, Lelith easily dominates her. Of course this Lelith I doubt has the same backstory, so most likely it wont be such a 1 sided fight
1. Always good to find someone else who knows about Weaver Option. 2. Other than finding that first STC on the orc battle moon, most of Taylor's success comes from people literally giving their life to keep her alive. It's only a small distinction but I don't think she's quite a Mary Sue. She has pretty close luck, but it's not quite to that level (except for finding that first STC, that was an ass pull. But it's really the only major one I've noticed, so I just ignore it). 3. Yeah, I'd be very surprised if this version of Lelith was nearly as powerful. But I have a feeling she's going to get quite a good showing before shenanigans happens. 😁
I always assumed that with the star child in him he is slowly becoming the emperor. Like how when lucius takes over someone's body they become him physically so maybe at the end he becomes the emperor then the throne emperor transports his soul into fyordors body
But there would still have to be someone to sit on the Golden Throne to keep the webway portal closed. Perhaps Magnus would be able to do it and the Emps would journey into the webway the same way he did in Master of Mankind, except now he'd bring more than just his Custodes to fight.
So I have a theory: to keep in line with main canon, Magnus is going to screw up the ritual, but... the way he does so wouldn't be necessarily evil or selfish. Two lines from "Just Aeldari Things" come to mind: one where Eldrad is mentioning that the Void Dragon's waking up and its shackles are decaying and Vect... well... disregards it... and that Kitten is going to where the Dragon is locked up... my guess: Kitten will get the Proteus Protocol, but will literally be wedged between Cawl's forces and probably the most intact surviving C'Tan and will be calling Magnus on the feather... and Magnus will be torn between his own freedom and rescuing someone he probably actually does care about.
definitely a well written episode; I particularly like how much sense it makes for the original Emperor to wants this part of himself gone and how that might effect things
Was wholly amazed in the star child weakness and strength which is graspable compassion even to a drukkhari and this also made me wonder when the emperor exponzed this part of him was it before the crusader or where it after the battle with Horus and if he wasn’t a viable in the crusade can also explain he’s distance with his sons
The emperor that is with the eldar is everything that the corpse emperor does not have, kindness, compassion, humility. These good things were poisoning the eldar race and since this was cammorah a multidimensional city, he was accidentally poisoning all the eldar with his good nature
He was only poisoning the dark eldar. The eldar, you see, are by default claimed by Slaanesh, to the point that even saying its name makes it immediately eat their soul (causing them to give it euphemistic nicknames, like 'He-Whom-We-Don't-Name', 'She-Who-Thirsts' or 'Hungry Bitch'). Various eldar have ways to resist that: exodite eldar live of some back-aleey planets in rustic amish-like lifestyle so as to not provoke it, as well as store their sould within the very planet; craftworld eldar also have very ascetic samurai-like lifestyle and also store their souls in soulstones that are then added to craftworld's soul storage. Harlequins simply have their souls protected by Cegorach the Laughing God instead. The dark eldar (aka drukhari), meanwhile, decided to go a different way. While they survived the Fall by hiding in the Webway (eventually creating the Comorragh), their souls were still being slowly eaten by Slaanesh - except they didn't have the soulstones or Clown God to keep them protected. That is, until they discovered that ANY excess is good for the Prince Of Excess, really; turns out, they could delay or even reverse the harmful effect of Slaanesh by being proximal to other creatures' pain and anguish. As a funny side effect, any excessive suffering ends up fueling the dark eldar themselves, making them stronger. That's why they torture others. The Star Child, being a splinter of Emperor's soul, is an incredibly powerful psyker, meaning his suffering would also be a super powerful dark eldar fuel; however, because Star Child refused to suffer and instead was incredibly calm and compassionate, his 'good vibes' were so contagious that they literally were undoing the effect of suffering around the dark eldar, making their souls fall apart from no longer being fueled. Basically, the rest of the eldar are fine (relatively), because they're not relying on torturing others to survive, like the dark eldar do.
Oh my god. If the next episode was gonna be the series finale, then it would HAVE to be a crazy, non-sensical Gainax ending. Something like Ynead is revived, but the god of death declares that the only true way to reclaim the Eldar souls from Slaanesh is to bring true and immediate death to the entire galaxy and every sapient creature turns into orange tang as they join the instrumentality except for the Emperor (who is probably rush-revived with the Proteus Protocol by Kitten, whose adventure was cut abruptly short to make time for all this bullshit) is left alone (except for BOY, whom he saved by choking to wakefulness) on an empty, dead Terra. He then laments that his masterful plans failed because he "forgot to carry the two" in his long-winded Machiavellian calculations.
Actually, the Star Child is the very first shard cast off, and it was intentional. The Emperor cast off his compassion to kill Horus on the Vengeful Spirit.
53:19 I honestly didn't notice Cripman in a bikini. 53:30 I'm guessing has something to do with it being bad for the Drukari to have Slanesh's chosen in their city.

Not gonna lie, the Star Child's dad jokes got me. Don't know why, I've yet to be a dad or even get a girlfriend. Maybe because my own beliefs and background made me susceptible to dad jokes, especially the one about "The Throne" being the couch. Plus, I was kind of expecting Star Child to say "Oh yeah, I knew you were tossing all my children into the fight. Not gonna lie, I was hoping that you wouldn't do that, but I sadly know such a thing has become your nature since your culture's inception. I'll admit: I wish that I could've helped you overcome this addiction and dependency on cruelty before you melted, especially since all it does is feed your Great Enemy. I can still help you, though, if you want; dear friend." And then reveal that all the soldiers he brought with him git out because their Drukhari guards broke down on the cellular level... and their enemies... and the auduence. Also, Cegorach jokes, I think, were references to the Eldar and Humans. I remember reading in the first two jokes were referencing the Drukhari, in how their sadomasochistic nature created and feeds Slaanesh, empowering their Great Ebeny, and how they're doomed to this eternal self-flagellation if they don't change, and how the Mon-Keigh found the answer in creating the Emperor as a guardian and hero against the forces of Chaos. I think that's what they were setting up with Magnus and Custodisi going to that moon; setting up how they'll repeat what the Shamans did eons ago. Also, fun tid bit: the presenter Harlequin was voiced, I believe, by GingerSid. Dude does comic dubs, especially Warhammer stuff. He's like a mirror opposite of Karl the Deranged sorta: he's a normal dude that's funny with "interesting" tastes.
I think it should be noted that Throne!Emperor does seem to be relearning compassion, if him trying to be nice to his sons is any indication. All that negativity and such is still there, of course, but...
@@Airier Hmm... Maybe only more recently, since we only saw the video link thing this season and I don't think they're communicating with each other either. Things might leak over but... yeah, I'm not sure that's the case since that would imply Fyodoperor would have been more prepped for that last bit.
Star Child is The Emperor's emotions and compassion. In order for Emps to reunite terra, crusade, and found the Imperium he had to exorcise it so that he wouldn't second guess himself or be swayed from his path.
So Airier got the Star Child's weakness completely backwards. He was excorcised because the Emperor that's currently on his throne judged that he couldn't afford to have compassion for the very reason shown in this episode - that it would break him and preventing him from doing what's necessary to save Mankind. Yes, the Great Crusade brought mankind together and many worlds got uplifted and cared for but it also brought war and destruction to many others. The human death count during the Crusade was probably measured in billions on the LONG scale (aka the non-English scale that has milliards, billiards etc.). Big E decided, however, that all that was necessary to ultimately save the humanity and his compassion would prevent him from doing it and thus he exorcised it.
Okay, Karl's post-credit section made me clench my fist so hard my nails bit into my hand, but I went through it... x) Bruva, why do you inflict this upon us? xD
This is a pre-season finale episode? o_O I'd totally forgot TTS had a season format... I hadn't noticed Prime Clown bleeds in the moment the episode starts, after the drunken primer. I'm not a 40k buff so Honk God's pop-up crowd being pre-Heresy 1000 Sons was lost on me. The possibility of there being a weakness in the palace's fortifications is apparently enough to make Lord Adornable tap into his Psyker powers. Impressive! (All the Primarchs are Psykers, right? I'm not misremembering this?) I quite like Chair/Fyodor-Emperor, he's a very charming and warm father type. Fyod-peror is literally killing the Dark Eldar with kindness. That clown announcer person kinda sounds like Claptrap. We've seen the cyclops head for Magnus before, like when he got in daddy's face for the chicken jokes. I guess Magnus' biggest mistake was being born? I haven't played a YGO duel in a decade. It's nice for Jaghatai to FINALLY show his face. Fyod-peror is a being of compassion so threatening those he holds dear can break him. I don't understand the Wide Ahriman thing... Is it a tabletop thing or a Wide Putin reference? Oh so THAT'S why Custodisi/The Gorger Lord was able to remove his arm like that, it got severed in his fight with the RPG characters controlled by his throne room compatriots. Sadly i AM wearing headphones... Why must Alfa put these weird Stingers on TTS episodes? Is it a jab at modern culture just expecting post credits scenes cos we're so used to MCU films doing it?
From what we know the thousand sons were thieving nerds even during their loyalist says, so it would be unsurprising if a few great crusade era chapters found the black library and were killed by cegorach for attempting to make away with the library's contents. The only survivors of the battle of Comorragh will be: Fyodor, Leman, Khan, the scions of the Ordo Tempestus, and the Ultramarines. Oh, and Kaldor Draigo and Kryptman.
Please remember Magnus’s habit of finding failure everyone.
2 things, firstly, the harlequins humour is a funny reflections of modern meme abstract and bizzare referential humor. Second, Asdrubael Vect's story is true from 40k lore, he was a young boy when the Eldar fell.
So I just noticed that when Vects city was falling apart a Dark Eldar let out a group of orks now they are going to make spores so now we are going to have orks running around Vects city and since most of the dark Eldar got turned to goo the orks are not going to be able to be stoped so even if Vect wins against the imperials he will not have enough numbers to take on the ork threat so he will lose no matter what happens unless we get some warp magic bull crap to save him
Not the first time it happened. Vect let in a bunch of orks just to eliminate a rival cabal.
Well the dadly energy got reversed, so those that survived might be effectively on super psyker-fed steroids.
@@attila535 That was controlled, as much as you can control a horde of Orks anyway. This is much more dangerous.

She was actually allied with some teenage villains for a while because the local superhero police were dicks much like Marvel's Ultimate Universe (or real life police in a lot of places) and those teens were nice, as they never harmed civillians and never killed heroes, they were just kids who were trting to get out of a bad home life situation.

whenever Bruva Alfabusa uploads an episode, it's always an event.
Tis true.
This episode made me buy an entire army of Harlequins.
If 40k was Inside Out, the Star Child would be Joy.
IT'S HERE
i think darigo is the grey knight of slaanesh, thats why the star child wants him alone to fight
if you listen, the 'deceiver' says, I hear you.
I would tell the star child to have some goddamn faith, but then I remembered who I would be talking to.
Hes Still The Gorger Lord according to the subtitles.
How do you come back from being called Wide Ahriman?

30:28 - Cegorach.exe has stopped working
Star Child is The Emperor's emotions and compassion. In order for Emps to reunite terra, crusade, and found the Imperium he had to exorcise it so that he wouldn't second guess himself or be swayed from his path.
Actually he exorcised StarChild because it was holding him back from killing Horus
59:34 How does he come up with that? He probably just asks Karl the Deranged to do some disturbing noises into the microphone and calls it a day. XD
... I think that makes it worse. 😯😨
16:13 “Slavesayswhat”
Magnus part is also clever autosatire, because significant numer of Alfabusa jokes rely on exposing plot holes of WH40k xD
