No its not easy , good luck with separating handle bar after attaching.

Just press the red button behind the wheels to release the entire bar.

It’s good for a toddler whose barely learning looking to graduate to something better. Not for high-performance at all like the Razor. My 4 year old girl uses it when we go on walks. The fixed steering does make it easier when she gets tired and all I have to do is push and not worry about her balancing the scooter. so it has worked for us.
