The deck is SUPER HIGH. Lower it three inches and I'll get one. I loved my Xootr but did a face plant because of an uneven sidewalk. The top of the deck was just two and a half inches from the ground. High decks require lots of energy loss from bending the knees so much AND it prevents longer strides to go faster. It doesn't matter if the bottom of the frame scrapes a curb every once in a while. Deck height matters a lot.
I have both a Kickbike and a Xooter ... both fun and a good workout (more fun than jogging). Note however that on both the platform is lower to the ground so there is less knee bending.
What is the weight limit on these? I agree that deck is way too high. Needs to be low like the Lancaster/Amish kind. If you watch when you're taking off you'll see how much energy you lost in the motion. Might be fun though to electrify but that depends on the payload weight limit.
