I have a theory as to how Alfred and his crew disappeared: they uncoupled their train from Alfred's tender coupling, let it collide into something and ignite, so as to make them think they have been killed. Then at the Vicarstown bridge, they either bribed or threatened the signalman to keep quiet about their disappearance. I know it sounds far-fetched, but it doesn't seem out of bounds with Alfred and his crew's personality.
Express work on the ger since the d16/claus hamilton engine's began to struggle with the ever increasing express trains on the line and the b12 were slowly put on odd job service as the b17 took over their work in 1930's
this was really well done despite gettign alfreds personality wrong but it can be easy forgiven if you right alfred really well instead of alfred dying comitting sudice or or trying to kill the intire railway you mkae him a regular bully thats a nice touch well done you deserve a thumbs up
He was only on trial, mainly to show off what his class, a modified class 28, was capable of. After the trial he was sent back to the mainland, but STH was so impressed by what he saw, so he decided to purchase one, in the form of James.
I hate to say this how many episodes have we seen Alfred die and then he just comes back there was only one episode where he was just only good but looking at him now he's turned himself into a much more villain and his crew sounds like a villain this is why I don't like Alfred the engine I know Alfred's blue and so is Gordon Gordon's probably better blue engine then Alfred I despise Alfred how rude he is to all engines Alfred is like one of the rudest engines
