Mostly a ghost watcher. But y’all listen to him. 8 months ago he said the same thing about the credit cards. I got one. Put $300-500 a month. Pay of off to 0 every month, and in less than a year I’ve went from a 660 credit score to a 752 this week. I really appreciate the advice man.
ASE=Ask Someone Else. It means you can take a test and pass. I have some Ford certifications from back when I was a tech. How'd I get them? 2-3 hour seminars at Marie Callendars where you sit through a presentation, get a free dinner and if you're paying attention and answer a question at the very end correctly, you got a free pie. But hey, I'm now a Ford certified tech for a few of their systems.
Best thing I did was get a factory job in my 20s, put 10% into my 401k and got out of debt as quick as I could. Now mid 30s, 4 Mustangs, and a 2.65 F150. On track to live on interest and have 10 Fast cars when I retire.
Caught the replay and we need to have a serious talk about credit for some of these members either on this channel or TDC. I've got some great tips and tricks since I work with credit everyday.
See this constantly at the track. Some kid will comment, "its just all fucked up."....when you pry for details, they start walking through stuff they did, and they stop and revert back to "it's just all fucked up." They have zero idea how things work.
I didn’t do my 20s as good as I should have. I worked but I never worked on my credit. I got lucky with my house but I tell every kid under 25 to work, save, work on their credit avoid debt if possible. Some listen, some don’t, I know a couple that’s 20 and 22 that got themselves on the the hook for $35k on a 2017 Nissan Rogue after I told them not to buy during covid. Their reasoning? “He doesn’t know how to drive stick shift (she had a 2001 5spd V6 mustang) and we don’t have money to buy a car outright” smfh
You are right about credit cards having a significant impact on credit when used responsibly. Not sure how your car purchases didn’t affect your credit. My credit has always been affected in a positive way when paying a car off.
The best option for building credit is just getting accounts that report to all 3 credit bureaus every month. You’re entitled to a free annual credit report yearly. Some debt can be discharged based on age and if it’s been sold to a collection agency it can be settled for way less than the original amount.
Now just because somebody has a high credit score don’t mean shit. Let’s say somebody has a Credit score that is around 800 but they only have three years of credit history versus somebody who has a credit score of around 725 but has over 20 years of establish credit, the guy with 725 is more likely to get approved for a house or in general anything then that of the person with 800. You basically have to have experience with credit in order for it to count. I know a guy who has a 765 credit score But has one year of establish credit and he can’t even finance a brand new Toyota RAV4
Thing is, how do you define what is suppose to common knowledge or not? The internet has made people lazy instead of retaining it but has been good because people can learn new information but you don't have to retain it since you can just google it again. So reason why everyone always asks the same question to you every day since they are lazy to look it up themselves and have you to answer them right away.
Love the Tony cam!!!!!

Common sense usually conflicts with internet trolls.

It blows my mind these guys tuned by other companies still go threw their tuner when there barely in the 8’s and blow engines left and right
