People review this race like Grant had something to do with the unfortunate events. What did yall want him to do? Lose the race? 😂

I’ve never seen anyone blame Grant for what happened. Everyone just faults World Athletics for the false start rule

I still had grant to win but the overall rule with the false start for Devon Allen was bull rule gotta be changed or put a warning if you’re close to the 1.00 time

The false start rule is such bs ESP considering it was too close to really call inn that sense. it clearly wasn't a false start in that sense and the measurement for false starting was like from the 50's/60's based off of white Finnish runners, it's 2023 people are a lot faster and fi you can't see it any noticeable different with the naked eye then it should be fine. you can't fault someone for having a near perfect start.

I think this year the 110metres world championship is wide open. Not one person is dominant this year.

@@RyuBlaze24 Devon Allen had just ran 12.84 seconds 110m hurldes at the time (beating Grant Holloway with comeback!) + Allen was going to race in his house (Eugene, Oregon, *his* city!) and was on fire.
So, I still cannot say he would've certainly won but I see this like Bolt in Taegu.
Then Parchment (who beated Holloway the year before at Oly, also this time with comeback) broke 3mins before Allen's false start.
This is why I say Holloway went from most likely third place finish to first place gold medal!

@@Trackreator Allen didn’t even win usas. You gotta remember he was still dealing with the death of his father

@@Trackreator that’s makes no sense. Grant lead every round for fastest qualifee. His semis was faster than parchments season best.

@@RyuBlaze24 go say this to Bolt in 2015. Gatlin ran 9.75 in 2014 and 9.74 SB in 2015 before the WCs, then 9.77 in the semis whereas Bolt just broke 10 with 9.95 (stumbling). And guess what? Bolt won.
Allen could've won even dealing with his father's death, maybe it even made him stronger and more motivated!
