These guys are close to being gods. Geezmeneez .......they are mind boggling and just drip with unexplainable talent .....So. Effortless purely unbelievable
Yep! Barry always delivered powerful vocals while playing rhythm guitar, & of course Mo was ALWAYS excellent in everything he did! I don't think Robin was capable of ever playing while singing, as others in the music field have noted. He was basically just a singer, a choirboy.🫨
@kthor Read somewhere that he did not like to play instruments on stage. He was a major contributor to their songwriting. And he was great at being their statician. All three were amazingly talented in so many ways.
Alan Kendall seemed like a great guy too. He was with them for over 20 years I believe. He was smiling in the background likely because he got tired of the the endless interviews with the same questions. Great guitarist.
Been loving the Bee Gees since the 70's and their music never gets old for me...the brothers Gibb were beautiful boys then became beautiful men...the music will play on...
What a treat to hear and see these excellent musicians Loved the dudes in the disco days and 💘 love them more today Thanks Bee Gees for such a class act 💟
Shannon - All three wrote their songs, mainly Robin and Barry together, including those written for Saturday Night Fever, Streisand, Warwick, Ross, Rogers, Dion, etc. The credits are on all of their albums. Barry wrote alone when the twins were just kids but Robin started writing at @13 years old. Each also wrote songs alone usually for their own solo projects. All three are in the R&R and Songwriters' Halls of Fame. Many think it was only Barry but the liner notes and they themselves said differently. Too many forget the twins because they're dead, which is sad and unfair. A fan since 1967!
@@juanita6479 - Yes, I saw that interview. Actually I thought Barry handled it well and was generous to the twins but most interviewers focus on him of course since it's hard to interview dead people! One thing that struck me was saying that he never really knew Robin's interests and thoughts because he was such an introvert. He was his brother for 62 years! Also saying he should have let Robin sing more and he "deserved" to have had more attention than he did came across as...HELL YES. Why didn't he, as big brother, promote Robin instead of just seeing him as a trouble maker when Robin felt he wasn't being acknowledge? I must say that otherwise Barry did come across well.
@@juanita6479 - My opinion is that Robin was a threat. Barry was groomed to be and used to being the star and it didn't sit well to be deposed by Robin as he was in the late 60's. Just sibling rivalry. I don't know if it was you to whom I mentioned some of the dirty looks Robin got. Look at "Close another door" and when Robin starts scatting at the end, Barry basically glared at him like "Shit, he's stealing the spotlight". Also, being such an eccentric, I'm sure Robin was hard to get to know, many people said so including himself. Geniuses are. It was as if people couldn't be bothered with the effort. I know they had good times and fun together so why did he often call Robin a troublemaker? Did they ever sit down and discuss their feelings? Men seldom do. I just wish Barry had talked to his brothers privately and told them he cherished them like he does now. Perhaps he did but Robin was not the kind of man to express his emotions so I doubt Barry would be able to do that with him. When they last sang together at (I think) Robin's home, Barry looked right at Rob and said "Nobody could sing like you" and Rob looked down replying "We should get together .... we should have tea". That shows to me that he maybe diverted attempts Barry or anyone might have made to get too close or compliment him. It seemed he was afraid to do so and I wonder if it was because he was rebuffed so many times. As a child he had to be teased, being awkward, buck toothed, sensitive, slight and interested in things others were not. He admitted he had few friends. When a child is teased and hurt, they build an impenetrable wall so they can't be hurt again. I think his biting humor was also a self defense. They can't laugh at you if they're laughing with you. His father was not close to him in particular either. If Hugh had a message for Robin he would ask Barry or Mo to tell him. Interesting family dynamic. Robin seemed closest to their mother. As Barry said at Rob's funeral, get rid of the negative feelings. Too bad he had the epiphany when he was dead. I do think he tried to reach out to Robin on his death bed and I believe Robin knew that so it gave them both some peace.

Their music holds up decade after decade. They are in my music library along with others and I have them in allot of my play lists. Their songs from the 60s to their album and also Barry’s album from about 2015. Great song writers with such a unique sound. I love the music is so many of their songs. I love how Tragedy ends. When their songs build it is amazing.
Great band, they had. Clear sound, live music at it's best. That's why I love them so much. Always on top, never disapointing, like for instance superstars like ..............., but I don't wanna name them so there are so many!
