Absolute monster of guitarist Mathias Dieth with such great tone and massive riffs. Mathias is one of those rare world class guitarists, that should have gotten much brighter spotlight in heavy metal scene. Fortunately, his work in U.D.O will forever be his testament of legendary degree. Thank you Mathias Dieth!

Why did he leave U.D.O. ? ..... That answer seems impossible to find in English anywhere . . .
Because he noticed clearly in the early 90s, that the Grunge scene was taking over and that the time for Hard Rock being commercially successful was over. So, he decided to quit the music business and be a lawyer.
A sensible attitude, which was always present in his family background.

I had a thought about ithat, but seem incapable of finding anything in English, on the internet, regarding the reasons of his departure. So did he have his royalties stolen by the midget or something, then got frustrated and quit to "Fight it Back" by getting a new haircut & becoming a lawyer ?
