Never heard about this song or band before, but cool song. The bassline is pretty cool, and the tone of this bass is extraordinaire, love it, man. Great cover Justin. Really liked it. Great job
I brought 5 BIC lighters to this event...I'm burning all 5 till they melt! BRAVO BRAVO love Player! Sheba definitely AGREE's Also! Gumby plays a resemblance to this song also!
@justinandsheba oh geez lol okay and I'm sure Gumby was all bent on hearing you jam Player! That era of artist is a definite listen from me chum. Oh and my fingers are hard core lighter holders.. I've many lighters to hold so keep the hits coming.
i have never heard of this band, but i like the pronounced bassline you covered. this band is a cross between the beegees and steely dan. you must cover some jamiroquai stuff. i like that band and the pronounced basslines, and some jaco pastorius stuff as well cheers !
@@justinandshebathis vid I am hearing some detail that I am missing. I am only 9 months into Bass. I seem to have the feel of this song but simply missing some detail that takes it from good to great. Thank you sir!
@@MemphisMike901 I hear ya. It definitely takes some time for things to feel 'natural.' You may want to play the video at half or 3/4 speed to help pick out the notes. I do that a lot of the time myself. I have confidence in you!!
Very nice man and I see you Sheba. 😁

Don't burn your fingers!! I figured old King Kong needed a break so Gumby could fill in. 🦍

We had so many great songs back then.
Just started working on this. I am missing the fills on the intro in between the octaves of the Bb’s & G 😮
You'll get it!

¡No soy Leland, pero es uno de mis favoritos!
