The performance was throughout clumsy.. I know she is the best dancer, this is the fusion of bharanatyam and mohiniattam but very difficult to predict the ratio. It doesn't mean that grt dancers can make mistakes. Performing in front of Amma, vyjanthimala, venniradai nirmala is not an easy game🤘home work is more important
I felt a problem like sprain or joint pains wid Shobhana Ma'am. I am quite sure from her signing off that she herself was not satisfied with the performance
Shobhana mam is the back bone of classical dance..as a male classical dancer proud abt her...bt this performance is not satisfing,it may be bcs of the song.....
This is a great performance by shobana as she is embodying the deity Durga and has to change in to the warrior goddess she is known to b e. Beautiful dance and choreography was excellent if not pure bharatanatyam
All the actors look bored or slightly annoyed.... shobhana is very talented but this was not a good performance and had nothing to do with the aigiri nandini lyrics- this is my opinion as a classical dancer and teacher

For heavens sake this is not pure Bharatham. Aramandi and angashudhi have changed today. Even in past changes were made according to the times. And this is a composite art not pure Bharatjam. Imagine her Aunties Padmini or Ragini or Lalita or even Vyjayanthimala or Kumari Kamala or L Vijayalakshmi for that matter even Meenakshi Seshadri would have burnt the dance floor with our hearts on fire for more...that was them and this is now, no doubt Shobana is an accomplished dancer herself this was just average..
Where is Meenakshi Seshadri dancing now? When was the last time she came on stage like this? Why are you all after Shobana's work if you can't appreciate it atleast dont criticize it.
