SolidSteel parametric is working on Assembly Level and is not using SOLIDWORKS weldments. The bolts, nuts and washers are just added to the assembly (as an option just the information is added to the borehole, if you don't want the bolts as parts in your design). Maybe also interesting: For the boltings, SolidSteel parametric don't use the SOLIDWORKS toolbox. All bolts and other parts are delivered with the software.

Do you add the bolting within the weldment part itself? It's this ok?
