Love the new refresh AT4. I feel like interior has more refine touches to the GMC > Chevy. Both gorgeous rigs tho.
AT4 for me all the way. Not to mention the center console controls are angled up so you can actually see them makes a huge difference to me.

I just bought an AT4 in desert sand. Pretty happy with it. But would have like to have those black rims. Looks badass. the interior of the at4 looks so much better.

I'm a gmc guy & I totally agree with you. I think I'm gonna order a trailboss midnight edition waiting to see the re-engineered 3.0 diesel for 23 suppose to pump up the horsepower and torque.

@@corydelbiondo5773 I was hearing 23 & the current 3.0 won't be available for 23. Have to wait & find out. I heard the new motor was going to correct a few issues & I heard that it's gonna have even stricter federal mandates. That could cause a bunch of new issues. Government is a pain in the ass.
@@larryriffett918 I can confirm that the late 23/24 MY rumor for the LZ0 is just that. I went to order a 23 with the LM2 and it's not an option I had to order the LZ0. Almost a deal breaker for me not what I wanted I don't want to be the guinea pig but we shall see
I would get a Silverado but I don't like the fake vent underneath the daytime running light. Both trucks are awesome but I prefer the GMC

whichever I can actually get....haha. I was going to get the AT4, but ended up ordering the Trail Boss. I do go off roading and off grid camping. I don't need or want the "luxury" interior. To me that was the biggest difference. I could get more options for the same price (sunroof, running boards). so went with the Silverado. Both are awesome trucks. Now I just need to continue to be patient till I get it. I ordered it at the end of January. No update yet :-(

I just placed an order for a 2023 at4, im a heavy chevy guy and went with the at4 solely for the interior. I actually prefer the trail boss look over the at4, but I see the inside on my commute more then I see the exterior.

@@corydelbiondo5773 I did, order is still at 2000 status. My research shows production for the 2023's starting August 29th. I was told 8-10 week wait time when I ordered July 26th. Who knows really.

The things you get standard in the at4, seems like you end up paying the same or more if you get it in the trail boss. IE the leather seats and power sliding back glass

It’s AT4 for me, the only thing I don’t like is the placement of the trailer brake. One portion i wish was available was the double cab; I don’t need all that backseat space. I ordered an AT4, standard box, w/6.2 in March. Got a call 2 weka ago from the dealer saying the 6.2 is not available so I went with the diesel. Truck was excepted for production last week, so hoping in the next couple months I’ll see it.

It’s a small thing but I like that the climate controls remain manual dials. It’s one thing I prefer remain a physical thing so you’re not futzing thru screens to adjust temp/air flow.
It has Google assist all you have to do is tell the temperature and it adjust electronically.
Ben do you know the difference between the X31 or z71 shocks compared to the AT4 or trail Boss. GMC looks nicer

I like both trucks but got the AT4 🔥 the MSRP was more on the AT4 but the sales prices after rebates was the same between the two.
How is ground clearance the same when TB has the 2 inch factory lift.
Because the AT4 has it too.
You should do another one comparing the 22 At4 and the 22 ZR2 to see which one is worth the money

I totally agree the door trims should be swapped wood grain for the AT4 & the carbon fiber for the blacked out trailboss. Whose making these decisions at GM come on man.
The only difference really is the name and the ventilated seats are on the GMC idk if they are available on the trail boss
They aren’t. But the interior is MUCH nicer in the AT4. Also the AT4 has the camera system standard and power folding mirrors too which trail boss doesn’t have

Both beautiful trucks but currently custom trail. Boss MSRP is right around 45. Hard pass on 60 K plus.
I like the Chevy, but you can't see over that god off full hood thing! I just went AT4. I'm on the short end. lol :)

Both the 3.0 diesel and 6.2 gas has the same towing capacity now for 2022 when properly equipped at 13,300 lbs. And manufacturers needs to give the extended/quad cab trucks the same high end luxury trims and engine choices as well not every DAMN crew cab trucks should have all the bells n' whistles. Give the customer options all across the board.
The Trail Boss and the AT4 do not have the max tow package option because they are lifted 2" over stock.
@@briansurber4221 that part I'm aware of because 4x4 equipped trucks/SUVs decreases capacities because of the extra equipment (transfer case, tires, wrenches, brush guards, running boards, loaded options etc.) weights down on the vehicle and leaves little to no payload left to carry anymore cargo.
I like the AT4 way Better. Much nicer interior.
Adding the 3.0L Engine increases the towing capacity to 13,400 lbs with the new redesign 2022 GMC Sierra.
only in the max tow pkg and you can only get it in the gmc elevation per example not in the traill boss. i just receive mine and the towing capacity is not 13,400

So I test drove a 2021 Dodge Ram TRX today. I was excited. It was used but had low miles. Had everything I wanted. Well when I drive it, it seemed to pull a lot more than I expected because of the all wheel drive, like soemthing was off with it.. I also heard something that sounded like a loose belt. So tomorrow I'm going to look at a Gen 3 Raptor that has everything the TRX has minus the V8 obviously. I hope I like it!

@@Lifehackz137 I have had a Chevy duramax for years and it has been a great truck, I don’t see any advantage of the at4 especially for $6,000 more I don’t see the extra value.
One feels cheap, I wasn't impressed with the trail boss when I drove one. Chevy screwed that up when they didn't make it the same interior quality.

At4 I have had one for a couple years and love it. I think it looks better then the Silverado.

Looks like the At4 is nothing more than an LTZ Z71 with a 2 inch lift..
GMCs are more for the elder crowd and Chevy is more for the younger generation.

Literally the same trucks but to each their own. Be misguided literally the same truck and same engine options . The GMC is just slightly more luxury but as of 2023 thats no longer true.

AT4 all the way. I had both and the TrailBoss is cheap. Interior accents on the AT4 are cleaner, dash controls are angled for the driver, A/C seats, standard wireless charging, etc. No brainer. Those voting for the TrailBoss are because they bought or have a TrailBoss. The new black hood scoop on the TrailBoss is dumb and it’s going to age poorly. The AT4 has a timeless look. Those requesting the ZR2 should realize that truck is a failure. 6.2 engine standard with no other options with current gas prices is ridiculous. It’s a poor man’s Raptor. The exhaust tips on the ZR2 are even poorly executed.
If there were NO Rams to buy I probably would at least consider the Chevy…🤔😝
