Simon and Martina, I've been subscribed since 2013. The last time I remember commenting on one of your videos was...2013. After hearing you guys talk recently about how much you love to interact with people in the comments, I realized that I want to be a little more involved in the Nasty community. :D I think I'll try to comment on new videos and livestreams from now on. For now, I just want to say a big HELLO to the both of you and I hope you find more wonderful hand-warming foods in Japan this winter. ☺
Why can't convenience stores in the U.S. have this sort of deliciousness? All we get are mushy sandwiches and overcooked taquito things and plastic nacho cheese sauce...
This is why I miss the 7/11 in Hawaii. We get manapua which is the same thing as a nikuman basically. Not much variety but my fav flavor is char siu. There's also these pork dumpling things I forget the word for them, lil bentos and spam musubi. I'm so sad when I step into a 7/11 now.
Listentoyourheart You're talking about pork shumai! And yes, 7/11 in Hawaii does have great choices for quick foods. Char siu manapua is always a solid choice!
that is a good plan, however steaming them is tricky business *inhales sharply thinking of Martina making midnight munchies of nikuman before getting back on track* making sure their not rubbery.
My 2 month old son has had such a rough time sleeping until we found your videos, your voices and positivity put him right to sleep! As an overly exsusted mom I thank you so much.
i thought i was the only one! eat your sushi is my favourite to fall asleep too. the positivity really helps my anxiety and its something nice and fun to fall asleep too
These laid back sorts of videos are my favorite from you guys. I know the fancy restaurants are awesome and exciting, but I really love this kind of thing. Thank you!
Martina. Is. So. Cute! That would have been hilarious if the chicken shaped bun wasn't chicken. HAHAHAHA I also feel like Simon's manly bites (i.e. just stuff it in his mouth) fits his new manly SIZE. DOTHRAKI MAN BITES!!
the economics of the convenience store food in japan baffles me. no way in hell a 7/11 in the states would provide that many varieties of fresh/real prepared food at that price. Every morning. So many fresh meals. who? how? when? huh?
OnlyDoniaUKnow It’s honestly kind of hard to pinpoint why we have a similar 7/11 culture to Japan. In a lot of aspects California is way more “Japanese” than Hawaii despite having a lot of Japanese people here. I doubt it has anything to do with distance. I also doubt it’s because we get a lot of Japanese tourists since it’s all local food. But I’m definitely happy that we have a lot of variety in our 7/11. Perhaps it’s because we have a lot of local food that’s easy to mass produce for 7/11. ~shrugs~
I feel like there's a pretty huge stigma in the states about "gas station food" that just isn't there in japan. 7eleven has some food, but because it would probably add up to just a straight loss here in the states, they don't do more than taquitos and hot dogs because those have a longer shelf life once you put them on the rollers. Lets be honest here, if your local 7eleven started stocking the rough US equivalent to steamed buns or something, would you buy it? Would the average customer buy it? I don't think so, sadly. I used to love the 7eleven taquitos until I started getting some serious shade for eating them because I bought them with my lunch money after school. I was made fun of with vague platitudes about how it was vaguely "gross" or "weird". Nothing about the quality of the food was either of those, but because it was from a convenience store, a lot of the people around me aside from my friends who also ate them started to be assholes about it. I wish 7eleven could, without losing money, stock more freshly prepared foods like this in the states, but until the stigma fades, or enough people all around the country show more interest in freshly prepped convenience store foods, I don't think we'll be getting them any time soon.
There’s something really entertaining about watching you guys finding one nuance of Japan and then trying a whole lot of it for consistency ! Like others have mentioned. I’m more motivated to acknowledge the creators that adore and love. And will make the effort to do more than giving a thumbs up ! Your community definitely appreciate your efforts to entertain and educate ❤️
"Think of these as Hot Pockets but not gross." I totally need to describe this to anybody anywhere whenever I have to do an introduction to anyone about dumplings and nikuman. Wow, that was a disaster of a sentence but omg I miss 7-11 and Lawson's so freakin' much. D:
My exact plan as well lmao I also plan to visit places they went to in their countries. They might not exist anymore but they are good ref to go off 😊💕
One of your old videos came on my recommended videos to watch today. I watched it and it made me nostalgic. Reminded me of our years in Korea and watching your videos for tips and tricks. I still love you both so much. Thank you for all these years of laughter, entertainment, cooking ideas, tears and just pure enjoyment. Thank you Simon, Martina, Spudgey and Meemers for the happiness you have brought into our lives.
I’ve never seen a chicken/rooster bun before🐔My mouth is watering 😂 Important question: How do you keep your camera clean when you’re touching all these buns😁 Update: Simon and Martina Congratulations your video is trending on RUclips 🎉😘
My toddler simply adores you Martina. Whenever we watch something from your channel, he always claps and says Hi Hi Hi and tries to fist bump the screen when he sees you. He laughs at Simon's antics and kept saying wow wow when Simon would shove his half of the bun in his mouth. Thank you both for the awesomeness
I don't remember this being covered in the video but steam buns (in Japan) are typically seasonal. Yes, They are that good, and yes, they are worth making the trip just to get them. However, nikuman (and all its variations) are a fall / winter item. Like many seasonal items in Japan, most konbini stop serving nikuman and oden in late spring.
Eyes In The Darkness You can steel get one at 7/11 or Family mart even in summer, but because they are hot (obviously 😂), they sell them only till approximately 12am and only make like 5 of them, because they are not selling that well. So if you really want to taste it you should get up early and hurry up ;)
I love seeing you both smile. You are a couple so full of joy and love. You are an inspiration for your subscribers. Keep smiling people and happy new year. To a new year full of lovely dogs
It has either ground meat or chunks of ham depending on the conbini! If you ever need us to eat things for you in order to find out if they contain meat, we will make the noble sacrifice for you. 😫
Tough life in Japan for a vegetarian. Almost everything contains a dashi consisting of kombu and bonito (tuna) The problem is, dashi contains bonito isn't taught of as "meat" and you will ask if a food contains meat they will still tell you no even though they used a bonito based dashi to prepair it. Not to be malicious mind you, It's just not typically thought of that way. The situation has improved a lot in the last 5+ years with a lot of vegetarian options in the big cities. It is still touch and go outside of a major city. Be on the lookout for "Shojin Ryori" style Buddhist cooking / food. It''s almost always vegetarian friendly as the dashi does not contain fish and for you vegans, Shojin Ryori does not typically contain eggs or dairy.
It was probably cooked into the sauce. Just like much of Japanese cuisine, where the dashi contains fish (and often int listed as an ingredient. Actually, if you freeze frame at 3:25 you can see it contains Wheat, Soybean, chicken, pork, beef and gelatin. @PeachMilky all the ingredients are posted on the glass, if you are looking at something and you see 肉 it contains meat. In this case 鶏肉 (chicken) 豚肉 (pork) & 牛肉 (beef) the gelatin might be more tricky as it probably won't always be clearly listed, but it is ゼラチン and as I'm sure you know it is made from animal products. It even has a picture of a cute little piggy on the label.
Steamed buns are heaven *omnomnom* We have a store near my in-laws that makes all sorts of steam buns, but bbq pork buns are the most commonly found savory ones and OMG MARTINA DO THOSE EARMUFFS COME WITH THE EARS BUILT IN?!?!
Also there is NOTHING from the Asian world that I love more than bao. Can't get them fresh around here unless I make them myself but omg they are SO good
I first bought nikuman at the Family Mart in my uni while I was studying abroad in Kyoto and oh boy after that I had to force myself to not eat it every single day for lunch. It was SO DELICIOUS AND WARM. Man I miss Lawson's, FamilyMart, and Japan's 7-Eleven. Good memories.
I wish I found this channel before my week in Japan! I think we did okay regardless. We had convenient store buns almost every day, hehe. I really liked the mint yogurt water I accidentally bought. The flavored water video was the first Simon and Martina I discovered 😊 I love seeing familiar things in your videos
Martina's silly voices make me so happy and sometimes if find myself doing silly voices too! So thank you for influencing my life by spicing it up with different voices!
Can't believe I spent a semester in Japan and never had any buns from the convenient store! Will have to try some whenever I end up back there. Thanks for sharing =) Vicariously excited for your website update, nothing better than a fresh start and simplification!
3.30am in the morning and now i'm off to make me a mug of warm milk and watch this video filled with steam buns just so i can dream of steamed buns and sleep happily hopefully for the first time in weeks bloody insomnia. Thx guys 2 videos in one day make me very happy indeed...Love you guys xoxo
Hey guys! I've been following you for years (taught in Busan and used your videos to survive!!!) I was wondering if you guys have any plans to write a book about your experiences? I think your humor would translate fantastically to print and I know your fans would love it!!!
Literally got onto RUclips at the perfect time. Haven't been having a good day, and the first day of my senior semester got canceled tomorrow due to icy rain. I know I sound like a nerd, but I always look forward to the first day of school (and yes, I'm a college student lol). But I guess that will have to be Tuesday. Anyway, watching your videos are always comforting. I wish y'all had a TV channel so I could constantly watch y'all. However, I believe constant creative making like that can burn one out so I guess I am thankful you guys take your time on videos! Have a great afternoon in Japan, whereas I'm about to go to bed in an hour or so in Atlanta, Georgia. Eat some steam buns for me (while I'm here eating chocolate lucky charms lol)!
I remember when we were in Ishinomaki, Japan and would daily make a trip to the local convenience shop and loved the fantastic food finds there. Alas, no steamed buns!!! Clearly we must plan our return trip and rectify this error IMMEDIATELY. Also, on Japanese curry, I described it as the pot roast of Japan. Everyone has their way of making it, from regional to whatever is just available in your kitchen. It can be spicy or it can be mild but it is basically a comfort food.
I had my first Nikuman when I went to Chinatown in San Francisco as a celebration for Middle School Graduation. It was a sweet honey pork steamed bun we had during a dim sum. I also had shabu shabu in Japantown at a place called moms. It was really good.
i feel like i interact more of twitter >< but there you can't see the awesome rainbow ladderrrrr so i guess i have to get used to yt comments now also i can never find nice puffy cloud-like buns here in toronto wtfff ):
i've definitely had them before -- they're just never as good as i hope they are. once when i was in aussie i had an AMAZING CLOUD OF WARMTH and i've never been able to find it back home. any recs would be ace tho
Hi Simon and Martina. Thank you both for all that you do! Your videos are part of my ladder! I really appreciate all that you two do each day. Thank you so much for bringing the happy into my life!
Holy smoley I miss sevuuuuuu in Japan. Whenever I talk to people about Japan I always tell them that 7-11 is the best thing that happened to mankind and they're like "whaaa??" And im like "guuurrl, you havent LIVED untill u go to a Japanese 7-11"
Auuyghhhhh BITING INTO A WARM, TENDER, SLIGHTLY BOUNCY BUN ON A COLD DAY IS ONE OF THE BEST FEELINGS EVER. Definitely going to go get some myself tomorrow. 🤤 Thanks for sharing! 💕
This all looks so insanely delicious. Now I want to film a baozi extravaganza video where I live in China, lol! (JK, I actually just want to go to Japan and eat all of the Pizzaman..)
I love that you guys do connivance store snacks reviews! I'm planning a trip this summer, and this is definitely something I want to include it my trip. As always you guys are awesome!
I use to buy the most amazing vegan steam buns in Australia at a local small market that were hand made by a lovely lady from Japan but her business didn’t last 😔 and I’ve never found a steam bun that’s ever compared since
Simon and Martina kimchi with beef and pork with chees and with pepper and garlic. dont know if those are the exact spices my mom used but i guess uk where i get my buns from ;3
I tried this bun at a family mart that was melon flavored and it was just amaziiiiing. It wasn't a steamed bun, it was like a bread in the shape of a bun. Anyway I would love it if you guys made a video on all the different breads available at convenience stores 😍your food videos are my favorite! I keep showing them to tons of people because I just love them so much ♥
It is quite the commitment (almost 400 episodes) and has quite a few filler episodes. Overall though, if you're looking for something to take up time, its worth a watch! Its a classic!
Your videos are such a highlight in my day. I've been watching for so long and along with all the awesome insight i just love the interactions you have with each other! Adorable!
I've never commented on your videos but I have to say you guys are awesome! Martina is so inspirational and Simon's devotion to her makes my heart hurt. I love watching you guys and I'm now longing to visit Japan. Thank you for being you!
This video inspired me to make my own buns. thanks for going around and giving me some bun ideas :D im making regular pork today but once i get the dough down, im going to make ALL THE BUNS
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Simon and Martina! nothing is better than coming home exhausted after a long day of hard Work and watch them eat, have fun and laugh! it just makes my whole weak! Love you guys, been here since 2011! i literally grew up with you ! Thank you so much for your time ,dedication and quality ! Endless love! :*
In here they call it bakpao. Its really hot yummy and delish !!! Usually is beef, chicken, rd been, green been, and bunch of other.. Oh ya love from indonesia. XD
Buns mostly sweet in here and its super delish! You guys need to try it!! Simon and martina please if you come again to indonesia, please go to othere place. Indonesia is really huge and hase alot of different etnic. And also alot of different food. You need to try all of them!!!
Ahhh Martina's earmuffs! I'm so jealous of so many things in this video right now. I wish we had more Japanese food options nearby. I need a steam bun right now!
in hawaii we’ve got those and we call them manapua. they’ve usually got charsiu pork in them (not the kind you get with ramen. more like a sweet sour marinated pork) but can have a whole buncha different fillings. my favorite filling is sweet cream cheese!
So I just discovered your channel because of your We love Coco curry video and oh my I've gotta agree I love Coco curry anyways I was wandering how you guys are living in Japan because I lives in Japan from when I was 3 to 10 and I loved living there and I would like to move back as an adult can you pleaseeeeeee tell me how to do it Edit: woah you guys loved my comment and I havent even finished watching your video yet thats fast
I just wanted to let you guys know I literally just bursted down crying from happiness, because of seeing a notification from you guys. I failed at trying to reach out for help when I knew I was going to fall into a huge depression slump today and have been beating myself up about it since. I have been trying to desperately find little rungs to my ladder all day and failing, so this video is probably the brightest rung of the day. Thank you.
I'm sorry you're having a rough day. I know how important it is to grab onto something before you slip too far. I'm really happy we could be there for you when you need us :D
Simon and Martina thanks for the reply! I actually end up binging your old videos alot when I go through these slumps, so you seriously have been there for me more than you know ❤
I had to wait to finish work to watch this and it is worth it so much! I lost it when Martina said the curry one had vanilla instead of mozzarella 😂 much better luck then the Japanese flavoured water video!!
Haha that’s funny because our “nikuman” in Hawaii are called “manapua”. And the best manapua are from the Hawaii 7-elevens.😂 the masters of steamed buns!
I miss steam buns so much! I lived most of my life in Asia and now I'm in Brazil and I bought some buns in São Paulo Japan Town and shared (though begrudgingly) with my husband and now I think I created a monster hahaha
i know! Ive had notifications on FOREVER and it never told me until like, an hour later or not at all. I wonder why it kicked in for this video. The world may never knowwww
Simon and Martina, I've been subscribed since 2013. The last time I remember commenting on one of your videos was...2013. This makes me so freaking happy to read. I'm gonna pin this comment. Thank you for going out of your way to leave a comment. It means a lot to us :D
You finally got a response :3 congrats lol
took the words out of my mouth :)
Me paso lo mismo!!!, ahora trato de participar más activamente en los comentarios gracias a ese video =D
I couldn't agree more :) so inspired to be more involved in the nasty community.
Martina: “I need to feed my big boy!”
Simon: *“AUGH!”*
Why can't convenience stores in the U.S. have this sort of deliciousness? All we get are mushy sandwiches and overcooked taquito things and plastic nacho cheese sauce...
I just don't get why our quick bit foods are so lacking. Makes me happy when I do find an asian bakery, but boy do they keep their location secreat
you might find them on yelp?
The only thing worth eating are the baked foods at QUik Trip
This is why I miss the 7/11 in Hawaii. We get manapua which is the same thing as a nikuman basically. Not much variety but my fav flavor is char siu. There's also these pork dumpling things I forget the word for them, lil bentos and spam musubi. I'm so sad when I step into a 7/11 now.
Listentoyourheart You're talking about pork shumai! And yes, 7/11 in Hawaii does have great choices for quick foods. Char siu manapua is always a solid choice!
Seeing Simon stuff half a pizza man into his mouth and not choke was both horrifying and fascinating.
Lol hahaha
it was actually quite amazing for me. hahahaha
How about gross and disgusting?
@@raizelm1578 How so?
I appreciate that Martina's ear muffs look like steam buns 😁
They sometimes dont let you buy the steamed buns because theyve just been put in the steamer display thign and its not warm enough!
Books flight back to Japan just to eat chicken buns
Pais523101 me too
Goes to book flight to japan......then the realization that ive been poor my whole life Kicks in....XD IMA MAKE MY OWN!!!!
that is a good plan, however steaming them is tricky business *inhales sharply thinking of Martina making midnight munchies of nikuman before getting back on track* making sure their not rubbery.
はい!がんばります! ぱいさま!
Pais523101 same tbh
My 2 month old son has had such a rough time sleeping until we found your videos, your voices and positivity put him right to sleep! As an overly exsusted mom I thank you so much.
I have trouble sleeping too, and I found out that it's so much easier to fall asleep on their podcasts!
Maddie calling haha I always do that with Jenna and Julien's Twitch stream videos :)

Try ASMR!! Saved my life for the past 10 yrs. :)
These laid back sorts of videos are my favorite from you guys. I know the fancy restaurants are awesome and exciting, but I really love this kind of thing. Thank you!
“This splitting up half a bun bullshhh!” So hilarious!
Martina. Is. So. Cute! That would have been hilarious if the chicken shaped bun wasn't chicken. HAHAHAHA I also feel like Simon's manly bites (i.e. just stuff it in his mouth) fits his new manly SIZE. DOTHRAKI MAN BITES!!
Martina's earmuffs are too cute!! 💖

who?
how?
when?
huh?
We even have a couple of Family Marts in NYC and they still don’t compare to the ones in Japan. :(
hatshepsutxlll I used to think 7/11 in the US wasn’t that bad, but then I realized 7/11 on the US Mainland is miserable compared to Hawaii ones.
Amy He they’re a bit closer to Japan (7-11 HQ). Probably closer to the Japanese standard out there.
OnlyDoniaUKnow It’s honestly kind of hard to pinpoint why we have a similar 7/11 culture to Japan. Someday I'm going to go to Japan and make a list of places to go based in your videos. The Eat Your Sushi Tour. ❤
I've already met some people here who are doing the same for their vacation, and they seem to be loving it :D
Simon and Martina this is the best day ever. I got a answer 😭😭😭 Thank you guys. Sending my love from the other side of the world❤
My exact plan as well lmao I also plan to visit places they went to in their countries. They might not exist anymore but they are good ref to go off 😊💕
Yes! I wanna do it too 😆
Yes!!
This is not fair. First, my local Japanese restaurant was out of steamed buns today, and now this video. I'M BEING MOCKED. lol
Aleksandra Miglowiec Oh noooooo! haha that’s just cruel
Oh wow the coincidence 😂😂
You should do a Midnight Munchies where you make these and come up with different combos and even some cute ones!!
Nicole & Fam why has this been done yet?! Best idea ever!!!!!
OMG I Would So make them!! This video made me sooo hungry
I love how Canadian y'all sounded right before the purin bun. Super cute :)

Steve_Buschemi’s Eyes ah, ok 👍
IM DYING OF LAUGHTER. Just stuffing the entire piece in his mouth. "will eat anything, folks!"
Why do I watch these at night 😧
My toddler simply adores you Martina. Whenever we watch something from your channel, he always claps and says Hi Hi Hi and tries to fist bump the screen when he sees you. He laughs at Simon's antics and kept saying wow wow when Simon would shove his half of the bun in his mouth.

I need that cheese and curry one!!! Looks amazing! I loved steamed buns...I so wish they were a thing here! xoxo
Don't know why this was recommended to me, but not disappointed.
Oh! You're new to our channel then. Welcome to our videos! I hope to see you here more in the future. We eat lots of stuff around Japan :D

“DON’T TAKE MY CHEEEESE!!!” 🤣
Ok, if I ever go to Japan, I gotta do a steamed bun run. Maybe I gotta make it a 2018 resolution....
Does the 711 Pizza Bun contain meat? I think already know the answer but...wishful vegetarian thinking haha
It has either ground meat or chunks of ham depending on the conbini! If you ever need us to eat things for you in order to find out if they contain meat, we will make the noble sacrifice for you. 😫

I’m half in awe, half in a state of shock over how Simon ate his buns! Although I totally agree that you have to eat them before they get cold!

Masochism Boss Level - watching a Simon and Martina food video while I’m fasting. Gaaaar! What the fork was I thinking???
6:46 😂 lol
The nom sounds went from happy to wtf to disgruntled so fast.
Simon, you need to eat breakfast. It's the most important meal of the day. (Aside from second breakfast)
Heather McC yeah but what about elevenses? 😲
Is 7-11 a magical wonderland in Japan? Nothing that tasty lives in North American 7-11s.
Mostly food poisoning
They have steamed buns similar to the chicken and curry ones in Hawaiian 7-11s (called manapuas). :)
Well all convenience stores in Japan pretty much have the same quality more or less.
How can the thumbnail alone make me hungry??
i feel like i interact more of twitter >< but there you can't see the awesome rainbow ladderrrrr so i guess i have to get used to yt comments now
also i can never find nice puffy cloud-like buns here in toronto wtfff ):
keychu I believe I seen them somewhere in Korea town can’t remember where exactly
i've definitely had them before -- they're just never as good as i hope they are. once when i was in aussie i had an AMAZING CLOUD OF WARMTH and i've never been able to find it back home. any recs would be ace tho
i see the rainbow ladder here and for the guy who commented before me and u
That's a rooster, the top part is called a comb and the "upside down heart" part is called a wattle.
Hi Simon and Martina. Thank you both for all that you do! Your videos are part of my ladder! I really appreciate all that you two do each day. Thank you so much for bringing the happy into my life!
I just watched the ramen pro video from 2014, you guys have really changed. For the good
Holy smoley I miss sevuuuuuu in Japan.
Pizzaman = pizzaiolo or delivery people?
Those little pizza buns they were eating! :) 🍕
I have to eat lunch during your videos because they usually make me hungry. Thank you for showing off the awesome foods!
was having such a tiring day but just watching you guys eat the buns and making me laugh w/ your talks gave me energy! thanks always :)
Have you thought of doing a food porn book of photos and the stories behind your favorite meals?
We've been telling a lot of these stories via our podcasts. Maybe I should sit down and write them out one day. Hmmm...
Would love to see a video about your stay in Korea/Japan thus far! Also talking about your decisions to move, to stay, your plans for the future! xx
Simon: (forces Martina to give the last piece of her half to him)
Also Simon: DoN't EaT mY cHeEsE!!!1!
I love that you guys do connivance store snacks reviews! I'm planning a trip this summer, and this is definitely something I want to include it my trip. As always you guys are awesome!
All of those look so good !! Will add true convenient store to my list if I ever get the chance to go to Japan
I use to buy the most amazing vegan steam buns in Australia at a local small market that were hand made by a lovely lady from Japan but her business didn’t last 😔 and I’ve never found a steam bun that’s ever compared since
We had some steam buns in our Melbourne video. I'm sure they don't compare to what you had, but those were pretty good as well!
Simon and Martina 😊❤️🌈
"The police were called and apperently he is just hungry." Lol I am literally dying😂😂😂😂
NOTIFICATION SQUAD! What do you put in your buns? And I mean food buns not a sexual pun, you Nasty you...
Simon and Martina (☝︎ ՞ਊ ՞)☝︎
Simon and Martina kimchi with beef and pork with chees and with pepper and garlic. dont know if those are the exact spices my mom used but i guess uk where i get my buns from ;3
Simon and Martina dude just evrrythang! (Except bean paste... me no likey😜)
Simon and Martina I like veggie buns!
I tried this bun at a family mart that was melon flavored and it was just amaziiiiing. It wasn't a steamed bun, it was like a bread in the shape of a bun. Anyway I would love it if you guys made a video on all the different breads available at convenience stores 😍your food videos are my favorite! I keep showing them to tons of people because I just love them so much ♥
I love steam bums so much! The curry bun looks amazing!
I want you ear muffs Martina!
Like your pizza version of Kendrick Lamar.🍕
I interrupted a three-day Bleach watching binge the second this notification popped up. Y'all are my favorites! Much love from Texas
from texas too!:)
How is Bleach? Would you recommend?
It is quite the commitment (almost 400 episodes) and has quite a few filler episodes. Overall though, if you're looking for something to take up time, its worth a watch! Its a classic!
Your videos are such a highlight in my day. I've been watching for so long and along with all the awesome insight i just love the interactions you have with each other! Adorable!
You guys crack me up, the only downside is that I’m now craving these and it’s a 10 hr flight to pop over and get some. 😭😭
I've never commented on your videos but I have to say you guys are awesome! Martina is so inspirational and Simon's devotion to her makes my heart hurt. I love watching you guys and I'm now longing to visit Japan. Thank you for being you!
I just can't imagine the decorations on the chicken tasting like anything else other than icing...
Ha! Actually it was made from the same bun but it was a bit rubbery 🐙
Simon and Martina ah okay! I was wondering how they could do cute decorations on something that's savory haha
It's probably rubbery because they have to mix it longer to add the coloring
This video inspired me to make my own buns. thanks for going around and giving me some bun ideas :D im making regular pork today but once i get the dough down, im going to make ALL THE BUNS
😂 the end when he said you let one rip. Classy👌🏽
All the buns so tasty, but I felt so sad watching you tear apart the adorable rooster
xD the rooster was so cute
In here they call it bakpao. Its really hot yummy and delish !!! Usually is beef, chicken, rd been, green been, and bunch of other..
Oh ya love from indonesia.
XD
We didn’t try any bakpao when we were in Bali and now I deeply regret it 😭
😱😱😱😱😱 with red bean? So like a dessert one??? Omg I didn’t know buns come in sweet flavour 🤤🤤🤤
Buns mostly sweet in here and its super delish! You guys need to try it!!
Simon and martina please if you come again to indonesia, please go to othere place. Indonesia is really huge and hase alot of different etnic. And also alot of different food. You need to try all of them!!!
In the Philippines, it's called siopao 😁
in my country they are called bapao, but we cant really eat them fresh, we have them frozen for the microwave XD
Ahhh Martina's earmuffs! I'm so jealous of so many things in this video right now. I wish we had more Japanese food options nearby. I need a steam bun right now!
Martina, can you do an updated video on where you get your nails done? I'm loving them in this video!
in hawaii we’ve got those and we call them manapua. they’ve usually got charsiu pork in them (not the kind you get with ramen. more like a sweet sour marinated pork) but can have a whole buncha different fillings. my favorite filling is sweet cream cheese!
I actually end up binging your old videos alot when I go through these slumps, so you seriously have been there for me more than you know ❤
I adore you weirdos so so much. Thanks for the shot of happy I needed it today
I want these so much right now...
Does anyome here my crying this makes me hungry in the cold ;-! * more crying *
I relate to that chicken bun
Can we talk about how cute Martina's ear muffs are?!
Steamed buns are my favourite! I'm happy whenever I find a veggie one here in London since meat buns are so common
I miss steam buns so much! I lived most of my life in Asia and now I'm in Brazil and I bought some buns in São Paulo Japan Town and shared (though begrudgingly) with my husband and now I think I created a monster hahaha
Nadine SilverSparrow 😂
Whoo hoo! I actually got the notification!
Thank you for turning on Notifications!
i know! Ive had notifications on FOREVER and it never told me until like, an hour later or not at all. I wonder why it kicked in for this video. The world may never knowwww
Mine just did the same thing! Usually, I get notified about an hour later, but this one was immediate.
RUclips understood. STEAMED BUNS ARE IMPORTANT! hahaha
Oh my goodness! They replied! You are welcome! Thank you for your content!
fucking cold day+pizzaman=heaven
I sometimes see them an get envious of all the amazing food they eat
Love you guys though
i am DESPERATE for you guys to do a series of convenient store and vending machine videos!
