Interested to see how you knock the blue. Been battling it for a couple years now. Just when I think I’ve got it all, a new patch appears.

Amgrow soil wetter granulars from Bunnings 10kg for $40 is amazing, been using it for years on my buffalo. Gets rid of any dry spots with a 1-2 day turn around! Great product for lawn and garden

great content Brenton, thoroughly enjoy these videos as i enjoy the challenge of expanding my turf via plugging instead of just buying it in!

    Looking good as usual
Primo looking good seems shameful to disturb it but the long term goal will be good.
And still plenty of growing this season to get it moving along water plugging

Yeah I know but as you say in the long run it will be worth it

I use the natures soil wetter and noticed that it doesn't work as well as something like the hydrolink products, but like you mentioned it's a natural product that's better for the soil.

True mate, If you use it as per label it works fine, but I feel its more a maintenance product rather than a hardcore problem solver if that makes sense

That come on super quick since the reno. Good stuff that plant doctor. I have qld blue in my front yard and to be honest I'd much rather common green couch. The blue is a bit fragile with herbicides. Good work on your lawn hay, hopefully a good season ahead 👍

Could be a good idea for content to round up the blue couch and sprig tiftuf fron the front

      @theaussielawn  8 месяцев назад

definitely an option mate, but I have some other ideas in the back of my mind we will just see how it plays out

Great progress on the zoysia! Could you explain why you prefer to kill vs using a sod cutter or shovel to take out the sections you are moving the zoysia into?

because it is bermuda, you must live in cool climate zone right?

It would grow back my dude, that's how turf farms do it. It just rises from the dead

couple reasons mate, digging out couch wont ensure its gone for good, and this way I have minimal surface disruption

Any reason why you don’t wanna go ahead with QLD blue couch at the start Brenton?

    • @theaussielawn

Its a little too limiting when it comes to controlling weeds on such a large scale plus it looks terrible here in winter

    Cheers.
