advice for better efficiency in Katana ZERO (I don't know if everyone will be able to apply the tips): before attacking a boss, switch to slow mode to predict what he is going to do and better anticipate his attack. For melee enemies (like those with the appearance of a bartender with a crowbar) you must roll and get behind him before killing him. For enemies with a normal rifle: two choices are available to you: if the enemy has a "!!!" icon. , the safest solution is to roll (ability to be invulnerable with approximately two shots) or, if the enemy has noticed you, just wait a short moment (0.5 seconds for example) to deflect the bullets . If you do it any sooner, you will die. For police officers who use a shotgun, same principle for a basic enemy but the really safest solution is to roll. Unlikely to survive if you choose to deflect bullets as there will be bullet spread

I just finished the game and i loved it from start to finish. And to see that there are things to unlock like that, makes me happy. I hope that there will be some dlcs for it. Do i have to finish the mission after obtaining one key, or can i just go back to the main menu ?
Yeah its kinda awkward to use in most situations due to its slow speed, but also there aint nothing quite like deflecting an entire shotgun blast back at the enemy!
That would be so cool if they had like a training mode or something or multiplayer like smash lol bruhhhh that would be litty as a mf titty no cap or some mode without cutscenes cause sometimes I skip through when I’m jus trynna mess around with my sword and jump off of walls n confuse ppl w my dodge

no won seems to mention this, but the phoenix edge cannot attack twice in the air. also if you use a swing to launch yourself in the air you cannot attack again until you've hit the ground. also my favorite sword is the reference blade.
Can you do the Netflix edition? I tried getting the savant key but when i tried to dash through the like sensors thingys it just activated automatically
you can also obtain the prototype key by simply killing the beggar. you can be cooperative with the guy with glasses and stealth through the prison, just kill the beggar after the prison mission and you'll be given the key
I personally like Sword of Masters. With an additional projectile, one can use it to snipe enemies from a distance, or bust into doors and release a beam to kill a possibly sole enemy inside. Yeah, the attack speed is a bit shit compared to the Katana, but at least I don't have to pick up a throwable to kill someone without being caught.

First run with the Katana: love the story, this gameplay is cheap and boring Second run with Claymore, hard mode: fucking best game ever. I don't know what it is about the claymore, but it just feels so right
are you sure you need to do all of that to get the prototype key? I never knew you could reject your medication, and I don't remember the dialogues, and I have it, I know there is another much simpler way to make the briefcase appear there
Yeah the alternative is you just sneak through the level without being spotted (and not killing any police) for me atleast that is harder than the murdering route (but probably faster if you're good at sneaking!)

... i wonder why people don't use the savant knife skips when doing speedruns... the current hard world record holder didnt. unless that wasn't a thing when the bigger speedruns were out.... seems like it'd cut off a lot of the time required to do that level.

Actually you dont need to cut the cable, as long as the corpse of the guy you killed doesnt pass the sensor then it still doesnt activate the screen.
You can also lure the guy by cutting the door before stepping in the other room.

I feel like it's a bit obvious, but I just want to add it since it wasnt said in the video. The Phoenix Edge can also set off explosive barrels.

Depending on which route you take (Stealth/Killing) in the prison, you'll need to either spare or kill the old man on your walk home.
i dont think you can spare him, your screen glitches and he dies either way

I got the savant key without cutting the cord in the first room, but I did avoid the camera in said room
I beat the game, deleted it... And then procced to beat it again several yeara later with a flame sword.
It was nightmare.

Usually that means you were already caught previously. Try restarting the level. hope this helps :)
