- On the 28th of July, the battle scene came together to pay respect for Pete Cashmore. The talented writer and journo who gave everything he could to all leagues, battlers and fans apart of this community.
In doing so the scene raised over £5,000 to donate to Mind charity in Pete's memory.

Pamflit is the GOAT miss characters like him in the scene these days
Pamflit spoke some real truth in this battle. People like Shuffle-T champion their multisyllabic rhymes but Pamflit been doing that from day! He was a pioneer for the UK scene as much as Oshea or anyone else, but he doesn't get the respect and appreciation he deserves. This performance was better than most you will see today, and the reason is exactly what he said in his third.

Kinell is dope, funny, witty, old school for sure but does it well. Perfect match up for Pamflit to come back and his third had some truth. RIP Cashmore and thanks to him for blessing this scene first with his battle, but more for his support he showed and for doing all he could to spread the scene in the media. Shout out Prem battles too and everyone who supported and set this up.
