Handled one for the first time in a shop recently, super clear glass and dot, honestly not as big as people make it out to be, and very minimal bezel around the glass to block view. Reviews look good, I’m absolutely sold on getting one for my next EDC pistol dot. Thanks Steiner!

I have both. Acro on P320AXG and MPS on a P226RX. I prefer the MPS for clarity, size and shape of optic window, and bigger battery. However, steiner advertised the ability to disable the auto off funtion but won't tell you how to do that. Its no in owners manual, they wont answer the post on their website and ignore my email. Also zero info online about how to disable the auto off.

@@ShakeBaccJay my MPS died no drop, no abuse, or in water. Just died. Tried 3 new batteries just incase. Nope dead! The best they could do was ship it to us we hope to get to it in a month. 👎

Yes these use the ACRO footprint.
hows the battery life on these? was looking at the 509T dont like the Acro but this........ Im interested in. have a pair of Steiner Binocs I got 30 years ago paid top $ for them but glad I did. still using them today!

I’m having trouble setting it to be constant on. Do u have a step by step guide to keeping it on
How do i disable the auto off function?? You advertised this function Steiner, but nothing in owners manual to address it. I get no answer to my email or post on your website under the optic.
The version with the auto shutoff has not arrived yet, the first small batch of units that shipped will not have the feature.
@@SteinerOpticsUSA that would've been nice to know prior to purchase. Sage dynamics saying he was able to disable the fuction. Its a deal breaker for duty carry. Or night stand. You really should make this clearly known upfront. Disappointed

Can this be attached on a 1911 pistol and can this be equipped and survived a 12 gauge shotgun?
Yes and yes no problem. They're recoil rated to 50BMG. 👍

Will I need supressor height iron sights on a direct milled slide for this?
Unfortunately I can't really answer with certainty since the slides and sights vary so widely, depending on what you get and where.
Does it come in a green dot variant?
These are just red.
Any mounts for a pcc?
They can be attached to picatinny mounts.
All that and it’s still lacking in features compared to the MUCH smaller holosun 509t. That thing is killing the enclosed emitter market
We respect our fledgling competitors. We just hope for the customer's sake those products will still be around for 70+ years like Steiner's.
I have one holosun, but they are Chinese made! It still works and works good, but the Steiner is much better. I have a couple of Steiner scopes that have great glass.
@@darrintune1715 Chinese made and still one of the top optics. All the more expensive optics have terrible quality control

@@karbinekrazy6814 False or partially false! My buddies holosun has garbage glass on the edges of the glass. My Aimpoint Acro is perfectly clear from edge to edge.

They use the ACRO footprint and come with an additional adapter for Docter footprints.
