Ditto here. Syleena her mom & family hopefully realize they’re blessed to get a chance to begin anew. I never did, my mother died at 29 yrs old when I was 11 & so frightened of her temper. Cherish the wisdom & time you’ve been given. Please stop smoking, love yourself, it’s horrible struggling to breathe

I just watched the Iyanla Fix My Life episode. Oh my goodness!! Tear dropped from my eyes because I can relate to your story. I, too, experienced similar instances in my childhood. This episode helped me to understand some things that my parents may feel yet have never expressed. This song is a blessing and comfort to my heart. I don't think my mother or father are ready to acknowledge the pain and the pain that they have caused to their 10 children but this song gives me hope that one day we all will have a conversation.
