Question, How the hell can they justify still calling this Madam Secretary when she is President now, Honestly I had expected them end the series and recast the show as Madam President, which would make sense for her term as President, and it's not like it hasn't been done before, just look at The Closer which was later recast as Major Crimes, after the main female lead left
@DarkShogun2006 I know why they changed the name from the closer to major crime, which was my point, I was giving an example showing that they could have changed the show name from Madam Secretary to Madam President

Well it's not exactly out of nowhere. Before cleaning the horses she had been in CIA and a very good friend of the then president too.
I thought the season would end with her becoming president then the would make a spin off called madam president

Watch the epsiode. In the first episode, they did actually changed the name from "madam secretary" to "madam president".
