  • Today I shadow Alex with Assured Construction as he shows me how to follow a detailed process on measuring and (in video 2) cutting tin trim for a window wrap. Alex has done over 1,000 window installs and is very good at explaining his process. I am grateful to share his insights here.

Great video! I like a guy who gets straight to the point. Excellent attention to detail. This guy knows what he is talking about. Looking forward to seeing your next video. Shout out from Niagara Falls Canada..

Looks as if the window was measured too short in height or is it sitting on a 3/4 sub sill? If that's the case, all new windows do come with a bottom expander and the new alum. sill will slip under the expander. Now the new is smaller in size and not hollow. Makes for a professional-looking job. Rookie Good luck!

Great vid....but you have your return and your projection mixed up. The projection on the header,Left and Right are always the same. The return often changes not just in size but in direction of bend and number of bends as well.
