You spent half the video talking about the specs etc. you've titled the video a 6 month review. When I clicked on the video I wanted to know how you found the device after 6 months. Not, talking about it as if you're just received it and beginer review stuff.
There’s a love/hate relationship with my Ally and it has to do with software: it can work great one day and buggy the next. I’ve been using this week for remote play with my Xbox and it works absolutely flawless with great battery life too.
I have the same issue with my fingers sliding of the buttons and on the screen which then freezes my game or cause me to die... lmao thought I was the only one. I think firmware update for the auto game mood would help resolve this issue
Its defs something they could fix, like create a customizable dead zone on the edge of the screen near buttons, thats toggleable. might feel slightly clunky so id imangine it being off by default but still fixible.
I mean my biggest concern is because on the go I do have a set up where I connected to the power but only to 60 watts on my car charger and the main games that I play when I am break it's either call of duty😊
Hey what's going on brother I have a quick question regarding what you said about saving battery on the go and changing your resolution to 720 and changing the fps to 60 hurts with that being said wouldn't changing the amount of power you get wouldn't make any difference like if I change to 720 60 HZ and play on turbo mode a 25 watts wooden still that make the same effect on draining the battery I hope you can kind of understand my question
I think it depends on how often you take it out, as well as if you have pets (who may step on it), or if you drop stuff as often as Linus Tech Tips! I think it is okay as it is, but I don't travel often and I hardly ever drop my devices. I've had it for 6mo and don't have any scratches on the screen at all! Hope this helps.
I'm thinking about selling my Ally because I just got the Legion Go, I know that the LEGO updates are behind but I just love the screen and playing on it. I'm a day one owner of the Ally. I have only had the LEGO for 4 days, I don't need to sell it but I don't want it just sitting here if I don't use it.
One thing that’s odd is that they ally and legion have the exact same processor but for some reason it runs better on the ally in some games it has 10% + better frame rate than the legion.
@@andrewstutz4240 that is only temporary and that is in very small cases. the Legion go only been out for two months and Allie has had six months worth of updates
6:41 Not being mean but that's definitely a skill issue there bro 😅 try playing more retro fighting games you'll develop better thumb control due to the precise inputs if you wanna work on avoiding the screen
I'm glad to be making videos again! I've got a TV review coming next week so stay tuned!

Exactly. Like WTF bruh.

I also loved Rog Ally more than Steam Deck ❤❤❤
Welcome back!

I don't remember my Turbogfx, gamegear, psp, coming with a case, does the Nintendo Switch?
As far as I know only two devices come with cases.
There is no case that comes with the Nintendo Switch.
Doesn’t change the fact that valve included one for a cheaper price. In my opinion, all handhelds should come with one. But that’s me.
I've always used thumbsticks with the middle of my thumb vs the tip. So I often inadvertently tap the screen on FPS games too.
I mean my biggest concern is because on the go I do have a set up where I connected to the power but only to 60 watts on my car charger and the main games that I play when I am break it's either call of duty😊
I'm still in the return window for my Ally. I think i will return it. I just dont want to be tied to an outlet and I play mostly on steam.
I'm watching this right now on my rog ally

What are the thermals when u use in turbo mode?
Great video! New to the Ally so caught this in a good time. Do you recommend a screen protector or is the screen ok as is?

It's Gorill glass victus.. should be pretty good, but everybody handles their devices differently...

I’ve definitely got my eyes on the legion go, but I’m gonna have to hold out on picking one up because I’m about to move.

You're most likely on Auto. You can lock it in to Gamepad mode in quick settings to resolve your hands-sliding-down-your-touchscreen issue.
It is locked into gamepad mode! The issue is, whenever you touch the screen it freezes up in most games
How do you allocate the 4gb of RAM capacity and get 8 gb? How do you do that?
Armory crates
If I lock the fps do I loose vrr?
It is not just 50 dollars more expensive lol, you should compare 512 gigs against 512.
About the color: Well, that is kinda on you though isnt it?
You can get a white version of every single PC related item.

Depending how big your hands\thumbs are i defs dont feel like it is and it would be fixible with an optional toggleable
Do u have sweaty hands ?😢
Hyper-RX Eco mode in AMD driver software is your solution to battery life.
D-Pad is a skill issue
Can get black skins for your ROG Ally
