We don't require Gwadar because former PM Nehru rejected Oman's offer Gwadar for sell. It is difficult for us to transport from India to Gwadar by ship. If accepted it, India would suffer from Baluchstan and Pakistan 's weapon. You remember that Pakistan had west and east in history. It looked that Pakistan suffered from India and East Pakistan 's weapon. India helped east Pakistan to become freedom of making new country as Bangladesh. It is similar history what we avoid to take it. Oman should return Baluchistan a Hammer city as Gwadar because in 16th century Khan dynasty had gifted Omani Sultan Gwadar in which there is fishing. Khan dynasty had demanded Gwadar city to be returned but Oman's Sultan ignored his demand. Chinese and Pakistan have broken baluchistan's rule and make CPEC. In future Baluchistan rebel will destroy CPEC.
