The powerful force of water and wind, be it nature or man-made never ceases to amaze me. From hurricanes and tornadoes, to simply clearing blocked waterline, two can create irreversible damage where the later amazingly gives older lines new life.

That looked to be a fair bit of work, Gavin! Impressed with how you got the jetter and camera to go up those branches where you needed them to. Bummer about the camera skid popping off 17:30, but it looks like retrieval wasn't too big of a deal.

I'm figuring with the amount of bad joints and you coming out two times a year at around two hours or more at time, this guy would be saving a ton of money to have the joints relined or even just digging it all up and redoing it would save a good chunk of money.
    Another job well done Gavin. R O O T S 😊😊

What a mess those pipes are! I think if I were the homeowner, it’d be time to dig and lay some new wider pvc pipes. Connect some to the accesses, if possible. Fighting roots and damaged pipe that is just going to get more damaged over time makes no sense to me. There’s a time to say goodbye to the old pipes. Maybe even remove some of the old pipes and lay new pipe? You did a bang-up job of clearing and freeing up what you could.

Hey Gavin you might think about taking a pvc cap that fits over those toilet connections and drilling one or two holes in it big enough for your camera and Jetter hose to fit through. Then you wouldn’t have so much area to have to cover to prevent splash back.

Crikey Gavin, you sure do have some shonky workmanship down your way - when it comes to building work and especially installing drains. You have to ask... what sort of Plum can't even install a vertical length of soil pipe correctly like that one dropping down off that toilet. Anyway, thanks for another great video. 🖕
