Im so glad the voice acting of the clones and droids are the same ones from the Clone Wars TV show. Droid voice actor also voices general grevious in episode III and show.

The clones aren't voiced by the Australians, they are voice by Dee Bradley Baker (an American). I know his voice is mistakable for an Australian but still.
R&N RailProductions Mostly due to the recent nostalgia of TCW. While it would make more sense to hear Morrison they obviously want to use our pleasant memories of TCW for their own ends.... Wait that's a good thing. I didn't know EA was capable of good things until today.

What playing with a darker skin woman is messed up? At least it has campaign. Besides that, there's also the fact that you can finally have 3rd person view and the battle maps are huge.

It's shocking how realistic looking that video games have become, I remember back then if you were to tell me as a kid in the early 2000s that star wars games would look this good and play this good I would have thought you were exaggerating, this is insane.

I just want EA to make battlefront 2 good. Like some of those clone blaster bolts were red and it bothered me and cross Era is annoying and should only be used in Hero's vs Villains
I think cross-era is interesting tho.
Ethan the reason they were red was because they aren't standard clone weapons notice the jet trooper shot green so I would assume we still can choose different primaries for each class

Instead of them spawning, there is the battlepoints system. You gain them from doing things on the battlefield. You can buy vehicles with points. Same with heroes
Oh well if that's the case then that's waaaaay better. Still refuse to get hyped until I see a review.

Now that I have grown up a bit, I miss all those fun games, when I saw Battlefront 1 I was so happy, I thought I could relive that experience I had as a child but no, Battlefront 1 sucked. But this is a new hope.

for every idiot who is asking why rey is in this. There are two simple reasons:
- they wanted to show heroes from all eras in the stream
- cross over gameplay in some modes
how is that so hard to understand
This game mode probably has a mix of all the different eras, as they just want to show off the new characters

B2 droids are a special class unlocked through battle points I'm pretty sure droidekas will be there as well they're a bit expensive though and the clones have shock nades

There's no pickups. You collect battle points and spend them to be special units and heroes. Vehicles are included in this system.

JJ The jetplane There are bots, if you've taken notice when the other MTT tanks begin deploying droids, those start walking too and they aren't players. I also took notice of bots by the names of:

Why are people complaining so much about Rey being in this when Han Solo and Boba Fett are in it too? Even Maul NEVER fought clones on Theed in canon or legends, EVER. B2 battle droids weren't in use for the original invasion of Naboo and people aren't crying about that. Nothing in the multiplayer is supposed to be canon or totally accurate - it's for fun "what if" scenarios. We'll get to have cool gameplay moments like fights between Yoda and Kylo or eventually like Chewie vs Jango Fett. Cross-era stuff isn't even in all game modes for all you "purists" anyway.

I think EA said they are still creating heroes and villains from the clone wars era. Rey is just used as a place holder for the heroes.

The color of the blasters depends on what weapons they are using, there were blue blasters too. The green blasters are not standard issue.
Yeah same. Because for some reason, adding in a feature where clones would ALWAYS fire blue blasters is extremly difficult.
A lot of them are blue, but not all. Depends on the weapon. The DC-15 is their main weapon, which shoots blue.

I remember when I found a glitch in the space battles in bf2, I jumped out of my ship right before I left the hangar and would land on the outside of the airlock. Then I would just walk around the outside of the ship and shoot at enemy ships with my blasters.
That was something I did too! Get the Marine class on the Republic or Empire ships and let loose with lock-on-havoc.

First one was dumbed down and lacked large amounts of content compared to the original games.
It only looked good to people who didn't play the original battlefront games. Everyone else saw how limited BF 1 was.
This game on the other hand actually looks like the Battlefront game I wanted to see. At least EA/Dice listed to the criticism this time around.

Please make the Clones shoot blue lasers(plasma bolts, correction made by DukeandPook) only. Hopefully since it is pre alpha they will have clones shoot blue lasers only. Also I believe blue lasers are more effective against droids. In the movies, and the TV show Star Wars The Clone Wars, they only shot blue lasers. It was one of the things that was unique to the clone troopers. They don't have to limit the gun to one faction, or only use guns in that faction, but make it where all guns when using the Clone Troopers to fire blue lasers.

I think he just means for consistency since as far as we seen, all clone weapons will usually shoot a blue bolt of energy while Battle Droids will usually shoot red bolts. Plus it would probably be easier to tell who is shooting based on the color of the bolts.

The only reason the clone troopers in the movies fire blue bolts is because they are using the DC-15A and DC-15S and other firearms (such as their blaster pistol) that fire blue bolts, in this gameplay they are using guns that don;t fire blue bolts.
mathew harris Not 100% true. The rotary Cannon shown usually fires Ion (Blue) bolts, but I suppose the ammunition is interchangeable, though I do hope that most Republic weapons fire Ion bolts
