Haha, I remember when my mbx6 buggy was shiny and new. Couple days at the dirt oval fixed that, expecially after the unburnt nitro oil mixed with dirt and got stuck to the manifold, pipe and all over the rear suspension. Once that stuff gets burnt on, it aint coming up off! Put it in a glass box- you'll cherish it more as a piece of model engineering artwork.
Did you use the Xray linkage or the Mugen linkage when you installed the Hudy servo horn? If you used the Xray linkage, did you have any binding from the bottom brake cam rod?
the hose from the pipe is maby little close to the swingweel ? just a thought. have you tryed it yet ? I have one MBX7R my self cant wait to bring it to the track ;)
Hi, yes, the fuel tube is near but it doesn't touch the flywheel, I have made sure, thanks! This is a good observation. Yes, I tried, you must try it too! What are you waiting for hahaha
Rudy Khoubieh little late, but many say that the rear end is hard to dial in, there will always be a little sliding around. Even though almost all the companies use them now, pillowballs supposedly add a little binding in the steering
It is very very fast, and really easy to drive, and very strong too. The only problem is in the front, there is a problem with the design of the front hub carriers, because of this, the front arms and the axle shafts rub together... But every thing else is great.
Sammy31Dee I'm sure the droop is not the problem... I never had this problem with other cars. I think the problem are the hub carriers.. they aren't ideal for this new "kyosho style" driveshafts, I will post a video showing this.
Sammy31Dee Don't worry dude, if you read a little about this you will see that it's common in all X7R, the truth is that is a small problem, I just wanted to comment because you asked me for any inconvenience of this car, but I can assure you is a really great car :)
Yes... Front and rear shocks, and the rear tower. Chassis, and if it's electric, the motor mount. Also the 7r uses uni's front and rear. Hope that helps you
joanespik Yeah, in my opinion ideal servos for 1/8th buggy should be around 20kg. In streering 1258 is working on high stress all the time at track, comparing like 1268. But sure they will work, I just doubt it will be long lasting. But not meaning any negative way, just sharing my opinion. 7R is looking good! :)
rcnakki345 I respect your opinion, I have three years with the same servos and the only thing I had to do was solder one wire to be separated, and I used a lot ... good electronics and titanium gears ... I think the speed (0.08) is very important in track to rectify well, maybe 1268 are a bit slow for my taste. But I appreciate very much your comment, thank you very much dude
Hola desde Argentina excelente te felicito.Saludos
It's so nice when it's new❗ You don't want to drive it after... 😁🏎️🏁🤓🇨🇵
WOW ! ..perfect engineering set-up...
IMPECCABILE!!
Not sure why, but I bloody love this clip...
Paul Williams Thank you very much ☺️
Maravilloso amigo se sale 😎👍 Richi islas Canarias 🌴🐕

Man thats hot!! Very good quality car and video!
Thanks! :-)

That's a nice rig yo!!
Clean, I have the same car but electric

Im waiting for the snow to melt off my home track :( cant wait to race it.
Where did you find the skid plates? I can't find any to fit my 7r-Eco
Hi, in Amain hobbies, a USA store.
@@joanespik Just a USA store 😂
Wiping drool now...Cant wait till Tax Refund !
Thanks! It's an amazing car true
joanespik I want to buy a buggy but I am confused between the xray xb8 and the mugen mbx7r .. What do u suggest ?
Hi, I think mugen, kyosho or xray are a good options, in this order. But sorry, it's only MY ranking.
joanespik what are the weak points of the mugen ?
Rudy Khoubieh little late, but many say that the rear end is hard to dial in, there will always be a little sliding around. Even though almost all the companies use them now, pillowballs supposedly add a little binding in the steering
So how is it? Problems with anything?

Joan Espinosa you sure it's not too much droop?
Sammy31Dee

joanespik actually I seen a video about. Guy response dedicated with too much. I just got to see one up close the eco car and it's not hitting the arm

Trim that splash guard up! It's gonna tear the air filter boot being so close like that.
brandon OK, thank you.
can mbx7 be upgraded to mbx7R ?
Yes... Front and rear shocks, and the rear tower. Chassis, and if it's electric, the motor mount. Also the 7r uses uni's front and rear. Hope that helps you
RC OFFROAD RACING oh thank u so much
Won't stay clean for long
The servos seems a bit underpowered. Maybe they work just fine but I think they are pushed too hard in nitro buggy.
You really think that? I assure you that they are ideal for 1/8 buggy, 12kg 0.08 sec, unless you run into a bumpy potato field... :)
