- time for some more bling on my zed after new rubber so fitted new stealth sprocket and did gold chain
brief how to split a chain and refit including front and rear sprockets.
next video will be a detail on a bmw 800st forks out, fairing of full clean and ceracoat of various parts.
Thank you for the education ❤
Great video! Thanks for sharing. Looks awesome too. I have that same splitter but not the press. I have always used a master link for reassembly. Maybe street bikes don't use master links as I only ride dirt bikes.
Alot of street bikes use master links useally below 600 cc seems the norm 👍
It goes by horsepower rating. A clip style master link can be used up to 70 HP. Anything over 70 HP needs to use a staked (or rivet) master link.
Quality vid bro any chance you could drop some links to the sprockets and chain ?
Ill Sort later, thanks
Really great and informative video mate. What brand of riveter is yours as I am looking to buy one?
Thanks and keep well👍
Sealey does the trick to be honest most of my tools are snap on but looks like there splitter is made in similar place but cost £££££
@@gingerapedetailing8998 Thanks buddy, really kind. Hope you are keeping well👍
All good thanks for support
Would love you to take the time to drop a link to where I can buy theses sprockets. Do you know which one fits the 2024 Z900 SE, I've tried to find out but I'm very confused. Many thanks
I'm useless at links but the latest bike takes the same chain sprocket
Could you at least tell me where you brought the sprocket
would it be the same for. the 23' model?
Yes exactly the same
I have experienced the links being stuck twice now after tightening the links not using the rear sprocket for support. Weird that it did work for you
Alway do it of the sprocket just need to measure rather then just tighten down done 100s now
I have difficult opening up the front sprocket nut, now I know the washer got to knock it flat before open up the nut and knock the washer back to lock it
Hello guys ... I want to ask. Why can't I open the front sporket screw .. I went to the car shop even with a gun but can't open it, I hope you can help, I'm worried
