I mean, yes he was one of the major issues last season. Hes not a good QB. The reason they won more games was beacause of their defense. Unfortunately for the Jets that defense has taken a massive step back this season and the this is what you get. Say what you want, but I would LOVE to have Rex back on the Jets sideline. Either as DC, or head coach with a great OC calling the offense. Yes he provides a lot of meme type moments with the things he says, but we went to the AFC Championship game two years in a row with Mark freaking Sanchez at qb because Rex had the most dominant defense in the league. We have some great talent on defense, there's just some missing pieces and the biggest thing missing is a true defensive genius who can coach these guys up the right way and make adjustments on the fly during games. I doubt he'd leave his cozy chair to do it, but I for one would be extremely happy to hear he's back with the team. And of course Rodgers and Hackett and half the other coaches are gone too.

It was a bad day for New York football. It was an even worse weekend for Florida. Not only did Jacksonville and Tampa Bay lose, so did every single FBS team. I thought, OK at least Jacksonville State won, but they're in Alabama. Florida's last hope is Miami against the Rams. Good luck with that.
