@@gopro444 a konkani himself... Maybe in Mumbai they use Urdu in home nowadays.... Also in masjids too they use urdu for bayan unlike bengali and malayali muslims use their own languages

Assalamunaliykum, kokni muslims are from kokan district/maharastra province in india.kokni people mainly have fish as their staple diet.kokan is vvv beautifull coastal area.please don't mind but I didn't saw any kokani food in this mela.kokni's speak kokni language & this people are fluent in marathi language.their food & clothing is vvv similar to marathi community.in india koknis are highly educated & you will find them mainly in state goverment jobs such as police,B.M.C & other stable jobs due to their fluency in marathi language which is mandatory in maharastra state
