Thanks for watching. I did not regear but have plans to change the shifting patterns. The truck did not like the extra weight when fully loaded. I had Old Man Emu leafs but they couldn't take it and I recently upgraded to Deaver Heavy Duty packs...seems to be better. Time will tell.
@Stranger451 I do not. It may be stiffer but the load capacity is better. With the Alu-Cab it's already close to carrying capacity and then once you add gear it gets heavier and most always carry more gear than needed so for us the Stage 3 works. I hope this helps.
Can you elaborate on the diesel heater. Model, fuel storage and consumption, how big is the tank, and anything else you think that is relevant. Great video. Thanks!
What all has broken or started to see wear on your camper? For one, my gas struts holding the main roof have started to rust a bit, and my rear door tire mount is starting to rust as well
Very impressive. Is that a front runner slimline roof rack, I would like the same, and do you loose much of its usage from the canopy overhang? Thanks in advance
Considering a canopy camper as well in Florida… how do you deal with the heat inside the camper? Does it feel pretty ventilated with the doors/windows open?
Where in Georgia do you live? I am in the Albany/Leesburg area and I have the ACCC on a Gladiator Rubicon. I might bump into y'all somewhere on the road or trails.
Having a similar weight setup, i can tell you, going uphill is no issue with the V6. I have it re-geared to 4.88, that is really key to a better driving experience with the Tacoma, but no complaints regarding it not being able to go up hill. No supercharger here, but i am planing on doing the overland torque tune. Also am running 33 inch wheel size.
Really nice setup! I have a 2021 Tacoma TRD OR. Did you re-gear it, at all? How is the truck, holding up with the extra weight?

@Stranger451 Stage 3. I don't plan on removing the Alu-Cab.

I like what you’ve done! Very nice!
Thank you very much!
Welcome back, been awhile, great set up, ❤
Glad to be back.
Nice build I’m really looking into getting one of these
Thanks for your comment! I'm glad you liked the build. It's definitely worth considering if you're looking for something similar.
Looks Great!!
Thanks

Great video.
Thanks!
I'll get that together and get back with you.

I had to replace the bed lift struts about 2 yrs, ago. And the side windoor lift struts about 1 year ago as well. That's really about it.
Nice video
Thank you
What boxes are you using on the prinsu rack, and how did you mount them?
_The boxes are Rigiid boxes from Home Depot. They are through bolted to the prinsu rack. I hope this helps._

How comfortable is the bed in the alucab? I had a cvt rtt a while back and it felt like sleeping on just a metal platform.
It's not too bad. we added a 2inch foam pad and it helps.
Alu-cab...Frontrunner...South-African made camping/overlanding gear are the best in the world!
How did you vent the diesel heater?
I cut a hole in the floor of the bed and ran it out. I hope this helps.

I'm down in Tallahassee. Glad to see more Canopy owners nearby.
@@frankmabry3641 I go down to Wakulla Co. a good bit, I kind of grew up there.
@@LiterallyOverTheHillAdventures I tend to head up to North Georgia and North Carolina. I love the mountains and doing the trails up there.
Near Savannah. Maybe we will run into you. Thanks for watching.
@@bigsouthoverland Are there any good spots to camp on or near the beach in your area? Is that Goose Gear cabinets?
I've driven a tacoma. Can yours really go uphill with all that stuff and weight. Or did you spend $10000 to supercharge it?😂
