Thirty seven hours ago, the IWS Crichton discovered the remains of a derelict vessel in an unexplored star system.
Eleven hours ago, all contact with the Crichton and her crew was lost...
When the galaxy's most powerful corporation discovers that the derelict ship belongs to them, they send the only people they can, a group of washed up engineers and scientists who would do anything to reconstruct their shambled lives.
Their objective: find out what happened to the crew of the Crichton, and bring the derelict back...at any cost.
But, as they soon learn, there are some mysteries that should remain buried. And there are some things lost that should never be found.

This is amazing. Fathom is the best Podcast I've ever heard. The Sound design/cast/voices/script/story is above anything Hollywood puts out these days. Thanks JBM!
OMG! THIS IS AMAZING!! I'm glad that J Barton Mitchell has a new project. I just finished the Conquered land books and I was feeling a little sad because of it. This man deserves a series on Amazon or Netflix!

What happened?? I just listened to season 1 on the apple podcast. And I’m upset to see no season two. How can there be a prequel if no sequel exists.
It’s it still there but can’t find it
From what I've heard from Mitchell in his updates, they started the project, then funding dried up because of COVID. After that, for some reason -- funding, difficulties in production, changes to his original story ideas, not sure -- he decided to do the "prequel" Fathom first. They'll return to Derelict when they can.

Derelict only released one episode. They stopped production due to Covid. The Fathom Podcast is a prequel series to Derelict.
