Damn, Yoann is really my favorite contemporary artist, with his talents in so many fields and ability to unite them to create something so unique. Just love it. Please keep creating, this world needs more meaningful and beautiful projects like yours
Heard those unmistakable drums during that one performance at the Paralympics just now and knew immediately it was Woodkid, this man talented as hell

Such a humble and generous person, to be able to share his post production process, and all the challenges you face.
This man is so intelligent you can just tell by hearing and looking at him; true artist indeed.
He is Soo talented. Voice, music, concepts, visuals. All glued together with gold.
I really was expecting a different demeanor from him.
He was kind enough to walk through with in time, show his "secrets", and didn't take him self to seriously. He has earned every bit of renown that he has received and I feel he deserves more.
This was deeply informational and it makes me look at the works that I enjoy so much with a very different view. It also makes me want to have stuck with my education in this field but another story for no other time.
I was introduced to him by a very good friend. Ever since then I've been hooked. It's SO great to actually see him talk about his work and the process that he goes through in order to reach his results. Inspirational in all aspects of his work.
I don't even know how to describe how excited I am for this video. This is literally a dream come true. Will be rewatching many times!

C'est quand même hallucinant et tellement génial de voir que tes superbes clips ne sont pas faits par d'autres gars mais par toi. Ce qui veut dire que non seulement tu es excellent en vidéo / rendu 3D, mais tu es également un artiste musical incroyable. La combinaison des deux fait très certainement ton succès. On s'approche de très près de l'artiste musical ultime en fait. Celui qui produit ses morceaux sur son logiciel de musique, qui peut créer ses clips (avec CGIs & cie) et qui peut par dessus créer et participer à l'élaboration de son show live. L'autonomie artistique totale. Franchement, chapeau.
Je suis sûr que les clients aussi adorent, ça fait moins de monde à payer... comme dans plein d'autres taffs x)

Une très belle âme. La référence à l'art ancestral du Kintsugi comme idéologie pour son creative process malgré un budget limité et quelques contraintes techniques en post-prod, est d'autant plus inspirante si on considère la qualité du résultat final à chaque projet.

Super inspiring. Always knew you as a director and a musician, didn't realise you were also such a VFX master. Amazing to see how what you do cross pollinates across so many different skillsets and mediums.

Une mine d'or ce talk ! Récemment énormément de contraintes ont drivé mon travail aussi (music et vidéos 3D), mais grâce à ces super tips je pourrais raconter plus d'histoires et créer encore beaucoup plus ! Merci !

Pretty insane how many skillsets Woodkid has. I've dabbled in a lot of the stuff he does, and it's never as straight forward as it sounds.

as someone who is in the beginning of his 3d journey (actually im product designer, but i just discover that my real love is 3D ), what tools do you recommend me to learn if i want to create things ? (actually working with rhino 7 , and keyshot)
Blender. It's free, it's powerful and it has tons of tutorials online.

This is a good example of why money isn't the most important thing. He says that the video for "Iron" was made the way it was because he basically ran out of money. And it's a wonderful video. Then you think about videos (movies too) where they have massive budgets and it's just a bunch of nonsense that you can't really make any sense of.
