kalmah0202 I know many Power Metal Bands but they all have something that differenciates them from another. Also, just because the vocalist of a band is a clean singing tenor, that doesn't mean he's a Kiske wannabe. There are even Power Metal vocalists better than Kiske. Just saying.

Can we also just say how far Twilight Force took this cover to new heights. The Vocalist, The Keyboardist, and The Band truly took this demanding song, and set a whole new precedent with covering this timeless classic. Twilight Force is now Top 5 All-Time Metal Bands for me!

Normally, I'd say that Eagle Fly Free is one of those songs bands should avoid covering at all costs, as there's no way of living up to the original. Twilight Force, however, knocks this one out of the fucking park. Blackwald and Lynd's symphonic flourishes throughout the song gave me chills. Fantastic job.

Connor McMurray no I'm not a guitarist dependent, in my view Elias plays equally well as Jani. I just totally disliked their change of style. I was lucky enough to find out about Sonata straight when they issued the first album and was following their route to fame after that. They had such a juvenile energy and vibe, no-one could recreate. Unia was something which I didn't expect and it broke my trust and devotion towards them terribly much. That's it.
Hmm, fair enough, I love it (I heard about them around about the release of Winterheart's Guild), but to each their own. Just glad to get a reply that isn't just a load of rambling about why Elias will never be as good as Jani. :p

It's because in Japan the same disc is more expensive than other countries (maybe tax, I don't know what). The bands usually add a bonus track to be more attractive the japanese version.

Anyone notice that the production sounds a bit more like Heroes of Mighty Magic than Tales of Ancient Prophecies? I know a bunch of their album 2 songs were made before album 1 came out, maybe this cover was produced around the same time.
