The reason why Homin were not here was because they chose not to attend it.
The award was given in September 2009. At that point SM was having conflict with MNET so they didn't want Homin to attend. After the lawsuit, all DBSK activities stopped in Korea, but in Japan they still had contract with Avex. The group worked together in Japan, performed live, released 2 singles (one is Toki o Tomete), 1 OST, and 1 album (THSK Best Selection). They officially went on hiatus in APRIL 2010."

Everybody is saying that 2014 was the worst year for KPop. However, people seem to have forgotten about 2009… That year, 2PM lost their leader Jay Park. That year, Big Bang's Daesung was involved in car accident which killed a motorcyclist. That year, Super Junior lost 2 of its members, Kibum and Hangeng. And, the worst of all, that year, TVXQ, the BIGGEST Kpop group in Asia, (they held the Guinness record for the world's largest fan club) split. 2009 was a truly DEVASTATING year for KPop!
yeah that's right.. can't compare to EXO Luhan Kris and Tao left, Sulli also Jessica left SM because honestly even though I can see the other members sad face but still.. 2009 is the worst one.. i remember crying river when TVXQ split...
The Guiness Book of Records- thing is not true! At least they didn't make it in. But they could have made it with about 800.000 fans at that time. They are not mentioned in TGBoR.

Nothing can compare with TVXQ and JYJ's split. Even H.O.T's split didn't shake the world as hard as TVXQ's did. SM's entire net worth went down by a shocking 10%. TVXQ are the pioneers to Hallyu's advances to the rest of the world and successful is a HUGE understatement. TVXQ is the was the and still will be the most talented group of individuals put into one idol group. It was worse than the president getting assassinated.
TVXQ split is the biggest thing that has happened, had the biggest impact. I'd argue that Jay Park leaving/getting more or less kicked out of 2PM is the second biggest. 2PM were a huge hit & the Jay Park drama...I don't even know where to begin.
I wouldn't say one year was worse than the other but 2009 was a "bigger thing" even though everything that happened in 2014 was huge, it can't compare 2009. THOUGH I guess 2014 was worse in one way, Ladies' Code members actually died, so lets be real...thats worse than everything we mentioned so far.
Just like when Hwan Sung of NRG(one of the biggest first generation kpop groups) passed away at 19 years old back in 2000.

I just hate how some people feel like they know everything about SM/JYJ's controversy. No, you don't. You only know a little. Stop trying to make other people believe in what you believe in. I've been a cassie for a long time myself, I want nothing but to see the five of them together on a stage again. Whether you like to admit or not, we don't know much about this lawsuit. It's okay to have your own opinion, but don't shove it down other peoples' throats.
How time flies, its 2022 and for some reason Im watching this...Jaejoong is my bias and I have to agree that DBSK split has to be one of the most devastating even in Kpop history.
It's 2014 yet I'm still crying when I watch this. I'm not a cassie but DBSK is the first Kpop group made me fell in love to Kpop music.

1. maybe HoMin got hurt by the sudden lawsuit case by JYJ against SM ent. Also, at one interview the remaining members (HoMin) said that they were surprised when the lawsuit happened. They "didn't" know that JYJ already applied for a lawsuit, they just heard it from others.
2.SM ent. is just too powerful, maybe they are pressuring the 3 and because the lawsuit is already happening around this time.

Cassiopeia does not represent the members in the group, it's suppose to represent the FANS! I hardly think there are only 5 fans! lol
And the fanclub was set up and is maintained by SM, the exclusive management for TVXQ! The club members actually pay dues to SM in order to have the privilege of calling themselves Cassies! Sm is NOT keeping up the fanclub for 3 EX members who sued them and trashed their name and the reputation of the group.

같은 해 6월까지만 해도 (6개월 전까지만 해도) 다같이 그렇게 친하고 가족마냥 지내며 웃으면서 사이판 여행가고 방송하고 라디오하고 콘서트 돌았었는데 그게 5명자체의 불화였다고는 생각 안함... 외부의 상황이 애들을 갈라지게 만든거지
+게다가 그 당시에 sm소속 아이돌들이 ex.ㅂㅇ,ㅅㅍㅈㄴㅇ ㅅㄷ,ㅅㅁ,ㅅㅈㅇ 작곡가 등등 트위터로 3명을 배신자라고 저격했으니 sm에 있는 그 아이돌들 곱게 보겠음? 난 슴덕단어 그래서 매우 혐오함

Man should be brave to do what JYJ did, there's a reason why veteran singers, top stars idols like GD, Leeteuk, Tablo and many many idols group always show support to JYJ, it takes real brave people to do what JYJ did, their sacrifices were not only for them but for all idols, thanks god all their sacrifices were fruitful.
On another hand it's brave from JYJ to always protect their two ex-members just like they did here, I watched an interview with homin last year, they talked about "mirotic" sales record and "Cassiopeia fanclub" guinness book record as the best records they achieved, I was like hold on both records are DB5K's records how can they just talk this cold like if these records are only the records of both of them, there wasn't a glimpse of a sign that those records were thanks to 5 people hard work, I don't think they should be brave to mention it (like how all three JYJ members did here) but it's a must and a duty on them to give credit to all those who deserve it, because it's absolutely wrong to take credit for the two of them only. but I remember that I didn't write a single comment there to criticise them just kept my disasappointement inside of me and moved on, now to come here and see some of homin stans hating on JYJ and calling them with names is just insane, like you must be really really brainwashed hater not to see the sincerity, the respect and the right manners theses three showed here.
I thank you for this. I have so much respect and admiration for JYJ. They're such brave men, chasing after their dreams and remaining true to themselves along the way. I'm so happy to see people like you say things like this it truly warms my heart 💖 however concerning Homin I believe they probably didn't have much of a choice sm would probably never allow them to speak of the "traitors" as they want people to believe.

+Teama Mino Tvxq, not homin. How did Jyj protect Yunho and Changmin when they accepted an award of a group they had left? Did they ask Sm before accepting the award? Isn't Tvxq under Sm the agency Jyj had just left? Their speech may make you think they cared very much for Tvxq but they sided with Mnet that tried taking over Sm. Do you think that would have been good for Yunho and Changmin and all Sm artists some of whom were their friends? Jyj have never protected Tvxq starting from the lies of the 6.25 meeting to the tweets that implied Tvxq were liars and betrayers.Jyj were protecting themselves. They didn't care about Tvxq or how their reputations and careers were affected.
Yunho and Changmin are Tvxq and the achievements of Tvxq from 2003 to 2015 are theirs. They were/are part of the hard work that went into achieving all the glories. They are the only Tvxq members left and all the achievements belong to them. Its not their fault Jyj walked out of the group and gave up. No one kicked Jyj out of the group. They left by choice. Tvxq are not stealing any credits from anyone. It all belongs to them. They know Jyj were involved for five years but what can they do? Not talk about anything in the past because Jyj were part of it? Do you have a problem when Jyj sing past songs and talk about the past even though they walked out? Why does Tvxq who never walked out and are proud to be Tvxq bother you so much?
Jyj never sacrificed anything for anyone. I doubt that was what they were thinking when they left. We all have different definitions of bravery. Jyj made plans to work with Avex before they left Sm. I don't consider that brave. There was no risk. They already knew they were going to have trouble promoting in SK. It was Tvxq who had no plans but refused to join the cosmetics business. After having no activities as Tvxq in both SK and Japan, after all the bashing they'd experienced because of the actions of Jyj, their families, agency and lawyers, they were not sure if they had any support, they chose to continue with Tvxq despite the risk of failure. They didn't know if they had many fans left. What risk of failure did Jyj think they faced in Japan with Avex? They found out later.
Docus 300 well whatever I don't who hurt who anyway. JYJ and TVXQ don't hate each other and that's all that counts to me. As long as they don't hold grudges I have reason to either. I think this whole debate is just fucking stupid, if you guys want to fight over it then knock yourselves out. Keep pointing fingers and keep putting the blame on people as much as you want but we don't truly know who was in the wrong or not, we can only speculate and seing as TVXQ and JYJ are living happy lives now together or not I have no reason to get involved with this nonsense.

I know Tvxq and Jyj don't hate each other but they were hurt and angry with each other for years. To imply Yunho and Changmin never made their own choices and and Sm told them what to do even in their private friendships is untrue particularly without proof. Many fans may struggle with the deterioration of their friendship for years but that was not Sm's fault. It was their personal problems. Sm don't control Tvxq's personal lives or those of other artists in the agency. That is why Heechul and Eunhyuk could continue friendships with Jyj.
I'm not trying to fight but isn't a little late in the day to blame Sm for Tvxq's choices? They did not leave or keep in contact with Jyj because they did not want to. They are adults and know who they want and don't want to be friends with. I'm not pointing fingers but reminding you and the other one of the other side of the coin (Jyj's side) which is mainly ignored. Its good to know both sides of the story. Jyj's side is often represented in a positive light and they come out as victims of Sm who never did any wrong. That is not true. By reminding you of what Jyj did it explains a lot of the decisions Tvxq made and why.

Let me tell you they were in their own right to receive this award, they worked for it, 5 of them.
They worked so fucking hard, again, everyone, and by everyone I mean Yunho, Junsu, Jaejoong, Yoochun and Changmin. It's no secret that SM, let's say, they exhausted them (still continues) ... I mean, they had a few days of vacation per year !! and their schedule was very difficult to believe. There were some rumors that the pay was very low, again the rumors, and people said "Junsu, Jaejoong and Yoochun love money, they wanted to earn more and more... they must continue in the band, not for money but for their passion, singing. "This is very stupid .... I mean, all members were and are very good and professional, if you are a true cassie should know this fact, their schedules were amazing, completely for us, and they did not complain, they worked very hard. But everything has a limit. I respect the decision of JYJ to leave SM as I respect the decision of HoMin to stay. At the end, all we can do is support them (true cassie). JYJ (Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu) filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment, they argued that the their contracts' period was too long for 13-year length excluding the military service and that the profit distribution was disadvantageous towards the artists.
It was pretty shock for us but still the news didn’t say a lot, it was more like a rumour because we watched them grow together and it was a very genuine friendship. later on it was confirmed and Yunho and Changmin stated that they are not participating in the lawsuit. It was pretty hard for us, more because a lot of people of the fandom bashed HoMin for betrayed them (Most of them stated that because they were aware of the unbelievable schedule, lack of vacations and stuff). Then Yunho’s father and Changmin’s father wrote 2 letter explaining all the facts, saying that JYJ split decision was because of a Cosmetic Business and I think (don’t remember) Changmin’s father said something like the cosmetic product are not safe use, also they said in a informal way that JYJ and their parents were hungry for money lol. Those letters are on internet, you can find it.
-JYJ and their families invested in a cosmetics company in 2009 (I think this was without permission of SM), they wanted to promote it themselves but SM said no because that could harm DBSK image and stuff (some others say that SM wanted a percentage of the earning, which i think is not true). JYJ and their families weren't happy and that leaded to the split
This is not true, may be one of the reasons but not the main reason.
A lot of things happened, both side being harmed, HoMin because most of the fandom say that they asure their place and JYJ because they greed for money.
Then it was a "625 meeting" to explain the truth to their fans about the rumors of Jaejoong, Yuchun, and Junsu. No too much to explain because again, the two parties have different versions, one said that relatives of JYJ came to spread bad comments against HoMin and other party said it was to explain what is really happening and to say that the cosmetic business was not the reason of the lawsuit and that Yunho and Changmin were actually accepted to leave with JYJ but then i dont remember what happend and they retreat maybe because of their parents' advice.
Then SM filed a lawsuit against JYJ to validate the contract and in replay JYJ file a lawsuit to void the contract XD. Then Avex (japanese company) suspended all JYJ activities in Japan, arguing having issues with C-JeS (now JYJ korean management). I think 2 months later SM announced that HoMin would return in the activities, Avex stated that HoMin will continue under the label.
JYJ also continue their activities as a trio, they released “The beginning” while HoMin released “Keep your head down” and problems continue lol, and HoMin is again bashed because the lyrics of the song Keep your head down was pretty obvious directed to JYJ (i do believed this). (Very important fandoms that supported HoMin or DBSK5 changed their mind and supported only JYJ, because they felt not important, because HoMin started to use DBSK name without consultation of their fans and stuff while JYJ started to use another name, also the most important shipping site YunJae Petch shut down on Jaejoong’s Birthday, announcing that now they will support or ship (?) HoMin.
Then, some emotional tweets from Junsu and Jaejoong caused controversy.
Junsu tweet “ This can’t be true… I came to believe that the person was the enemy of all five of us (most of the fandom including myself believed that he was referring to Lee Soo Man), however now I think not all of us see it that way.” “Seeing how you express your gratitude to someone who was our enemy, makes me wondering… there must be a lot of things happened when we were apart for a long time. I’m getting tired.”
“I try to think, see, and listen only to the good things from all these times, but just today I find it really difficult.”
“Even though we’re apart, this isn’t right, Hyung (by this we believed he was referring to Yunho). We used to share the same thought. Why are you doing this.”
SM celebrities came out to defend SM, I don’t know who was but she/he said something like you are ungrateful and stuff and BoA retweet that, then 2 members of super junior also tweeted and again I don’t remember their names, It was the chubby who tweet the meaning of enemy and ungrateful and he say that SM was his family and stuff.
I was disappointed, like keep your mind in own business, I believed that Junsu’s tweets was not necessary, that would cast some disagreements but what a hell with those two SJ members and BoA causing more controversy.
Jaejoong’s tweet "You keep your head up and keep an open mind” “I’m just hoping to be. I close my eyes, ears”
All of us was like damn, what is the truth, Why Junsu is saying that certain person was the enemy of the five? and apparently he said that the 5 agreed with that lol. We don’t know. Junsu who is usually very down to earth, truthful, optimistic and happy suddenly goes on twitter and says these words straight after HoMin’s comeback. And let’s remember who took Yunho in to live under their roof during the trainee days when Yunho didn’t have anywhere to go? Junsu. So, those comments about Junsu trying to boicot HoMin comeback are just irrelevant, something fishy happened.
Continuing with the lawsuit, SM Entertainment’s complaint against Crebeau (cosmetic business, I don’t know when SM sued Crebeau) dismissed and put an objection which is dismissed few days later. Then 2 more dismissed injunctions against jyj, court didn’t accept SM “dual contracting, somethinf like that” Then after some singles released, concerts and tours, SM applied for arbitration and one month later the arbitration failed. An so on, after a good time (2012) the legal battle has finally come to an end, both withdrawn all lawsuits against one another, and have agreed to not interfere with any of each other's activities.
The problem now is that until this day, JYJ still doesn’t own the freedom to appear in tv shows, at least Jaejoong and Yoochun had done some dramas/movies and rws were pretty good, earning good amount of awards and Junsu is more concentrate in Musical dramas, both are doing very good, they work as JYJ, and also they have the freedom of doing their own business, such as Korea's Showroom, cafes, restaurants, ice cream store, hotel and stuff. Same for Yunho and Changmin, they have a good support and they are doing pretty good too as TVXQ-duo. I don't know their own business, maybe they are more reserved about it, I only know is that sometimes Yunho helps his friends at 85'street.

If you are new, you may not understand us (old cassies) We watched them and supported them, DBSK5 = Rising God of the East, each one has a very special talent that cannot be found, they are genious, and that why our fandom piss off other fandoms XD but it is because DBSK was and is the best, yeah... I understand that they are other new groups and now DBSK have lost popularity but hey if you join JYJ and HoMin result you will be amazed. I know some new cassies (and old ones) will say we should move on, but how can they dare to say that?? There is a reason even Heechul was pissed at them and went like, 'do i look like a slaved to you?' with Junsu doing all that drama on twitter. JYJ were releasing albums and doing concerts after leaving HoMin to suffer. JYJ's parent's secret meetings with fansites with no one to represent homin and jyj knowing that meeting was being held is enough proof of what happened. Yeah, but dbsk is 5. Whatever, TVXQ don't think so. To them, they are two and will forever be 2.

Fuck I remember this moment so clearly. I feel like Cassie's had so much hope back then that things would smooth over. We kept hearing that it was standard procedure and it would be fine. There was a lot of speculation and opinion pieces on the old school kpop forums, but we never could have imagined that SME would accept the disbandment of what was, at the time, literally the BIGGEST group. We had so much hope for OT5, but this was the moment that I knew that they were done. The fact that Jaejoong didn't even know if Homin would even be watching.... It was a rough year for kpop in general, with members leaving Super Junior and the shit that happened with Big Bang. But as a ride-or-die TVXQ fan, this cut the deepest, and still does. 11 years later, and I still deeply regret that I'll never get to see OT5 live.
This is kpop history friends. I don't follow kpop anymore, but when I see how universally popular Kpop is now, it really is a bittersweet feeling. I wish these new Kpop stan's knew the half of how friggen amazing TVXQ was in their prime.
Thank you for your lovely post. You posted a year ago, and I feel the same way as you as I remember what 2009 was like. It was such a hard year and I also don't follow k-pop anymore. I've seen comments of fans of a newer group making comparisons to TVXQ, and you're right that many of them don't know how amazing OT5 is. 2021 has gotten messier and I'm not exactly hoping for an OT5 reunion. The time all five spent together was so precious. ❤️ It's possible there's communication behind closed doors, like Jaejoong and Yunho chatted when they were in the army. If anyone from either side is staying in contact, they're not being public about it.

This is my opinion as a person who loves all five members of TVXQ/DBSK since before.
NO ONE has the right to hate or to bash ANYONE, be it TVXQ with just HoMin or JYJ, or even the company, SM, itself. No one knows what happened except those people involved. Hating or bashing them just shows how narrow-minded people can be, even though I know exactly how upsetting this issue was. But these five have their own opinions and decisions, too. We just have to respect their actions and decisions since being together for that long doesn't mean that some time in their life, they wouldn't get separated. It is just so heart-breaking that it had to happen so soon.
Even though anybody here became a Cassiopeia right after their debut or even before they debuted exactly knows what happened between these people and the company, and I believe that no one, who is directly involved in that issue, actually has the time to read and comment on videos here on RUclips as well, so obviously, 99% of the comments were just based on what we saw, heard, and read on the internet or news and on how we personally feel.
Please don't make it hard for these guys to be friends again by bashing their respective current groups. Personally, I still hope for them to reunite, but if legalities and companies were to become hindrances for their career comeback as a group of five members, then even the rebuilding of their friendship is a total happiness for me already. I think, this should be the true heart of a true Cassiopeia. Fighting!

Creo que SM destruyó el mejor grupo en la historia del kpop por sus abusos y querer tomar ventaja de sus artistas como siempre lo ha hecho ,pero lo peor de todo no fue la separación de grupo , si no de los amigos y familia que eran ellos, a todos se ve que les dolió , eran muy jóvenes cuando se conocieron y hacían todo juntos , hasta en un cuarto dormían todos! I already gave u the keywords and u can confirm it urself. Personally for me the mentioning was not wrong. He, JYJ, TVXQ and OT5 shared the same memories and he have the right. 'He doesnt really care what Duoshinki's fans think about them'. Then I beat he doesnt care too what JYJ and TV5Q fans wish for them cause those two wishes very contradicting. If he really care his fans, dont make them sad and give them false hope. And it is natural for him to have no bad feeling towards Yunho and Changmin since at the very beginning, all the consequences appeared now, were not cause by the two. He is an artist and blame his own fans is inappropriate unless that particular fans step over the line. However, it's also depend on what kind of artist he is. I'm still keeping my faith waiting for 5 members to unite again. 5TVXQ is the one who introduce me into kpop I always remember how beautiful when they are together as 5 that why I just can't give up the faith. being a cassiopeia isn't easy the mistreatment that JYJ have suffered since they leave sm really makes me hurt...everytime I saw them cried makes me feel really depressed....there are many things that the new stans won't understand.

I remember watching this through a live stream when it aired in 2009. I got so angry that the next school day I opened my locker and systematically punched out JYJ's faces in the DBSK pictures I hung in there with a pencil. I tried to forget about them, but by the time Kohaku rolled around that December, I just wanted them all back so I could be happy... even though they looked depressed during that stage. By the time JYJ debuted in 2010, I just wanted them to be happy. I still do. This is my first time watching this since then and I'm glad the situation has gotten a little bit better with time between the fans and also how JYJ and TVXQ are starting to talk more openly about each other and sing old songs. Those were really great years and we've had many great years since! It was their 4000th day since debut today and I don't regret a single day I have spent being their fan. ^__^ The back to back ICHIGO ICHIE and T1STORY tours have been fun to follow! In general I like TVXQ's songs more than JYJ's because their styles have diverged quite a bit, but when they perform live I can't help but be swept away. JYJ hwaiting! TVXQ hwaiting! I hope they come back to New York City for more concerts someday...

I still remember watching this on livestream and hoping I'll see the 5 of them despite the sad rumours back then and Jaejoong's speech still makes me cry~~
This might never happen in future but I still hope one day I see them all on same stage singing together I know it’s somehow impossible but I only wish for it. Those legendary songs need to be sang by all 5 of them. Love you all whatever happens!! Tvxq is always 5.

Oh, why am I crying now? TT I remember this like it was yesterday, waiting for the boys on a fuzzy live stream. And as much as I tell myself that this is after all just pop culture and nothing serious to cry about, I cried..when I read the lyrics of nine, when homin watched the mkmf award scene at a concert, when jaejoong said he missed homin. The albums post lawsuit passed by like a blur bcoz they were not works of 5, and I simply wasn't interested.. My heart did a tiny jump every time jyj mentioned the 2, and when yunjae met in oct, I felt like finally, they were on the path of healing and so was I..

Jaejoong's voice near the end when he says that he loves his two friends that weren't there.. made my heart ache.. it really seemed at that moment that he wanted to cry but couldn't.. his eyes felt so sad >.<
Bruh..... people can say that JYJ hates Homin and blah blah blah, but each of them thanked their MEMBERS. JYJ didn't necessarily leave TVXQ, they left SM. Homin should have left with them. It's just that simple. Some people can stand tyranny (BoA, Homin, SHINee, SuJu, etc.) and some people can't (JYJ, Han Geng, Yifan, Lu Han). You have to put things into perspective. Yes I'm a JYJ fan, but it was TVXQ that brought me onto the scene. I don't like the new sound of TVXQ, but I still respect them as performers. Anyway, both groups are doing their thing.

When JYJ left SM they knew they'd be leaving TVXQ too. They further left TVXQ when they formed their own group not long after they'd left TVXQ.
Why should Yunho and Changmin have left with JYJ if they didn't want to? They were attacked and called traitors by their own fans because they sided with SM. All they wanted to do was clarify their position and to stop the lies against them. Yunho and Changmin aren't there to please anyone or JYJ about decisions to do with their lives and careers. Its as simple as that!

Siimwe Actually mass brainwashing is highly possibly and been proven. In the case of Homin, I'm still leading with fear. That's my personal opinion and I'm sticking with it. Has this mass brainwashing been proven in SM? If SM artists were brainwashed how comes JYJ, Kris, Luhan and Hangeng left? Are they the ones SM couldn't brainwash? Are they above being brainwashed? Did SM's techniques not work on them?
If Yunho and Changmin (they aren't homin), were led by fear they would have left with JYJ. They would have been worried about their careers and TVXQ and followed JYJ out of SM even when they didn't want to. But they didn't even when they didn't know what the future held. Remember it was JYJ that had made plans before they left. As soon as they could they were at Avex and formed a new group. It was Yunho and Changmin who didn't make any plans. They didn't leave when most of their fans abandoned them and thought that was the end of their careers. Then they decided to continue TVXQ as just the two of them not knowing if it was going to be successful. Their reputations were low and the ones who you think weren't led by fear had put all blame of the split on them.

Actually not everyone knows that SM is a horrible company. I don't know that and if you think 60+ idols are all putting up with "tyranny" then you are very innocent about how the real world works. Yunho and Changmin aren't okay with "tyranny" and aren't being tryranised. That is your imagination.

I live in America and I know about the stuff that happens within that company. 1-2 cases might be a lie, but if it happens more than that then everyone can't be lying. And actually fear can lead people to do some of the craziest things. Think of abusive relationships. Though constantly abused, often times the abusee stays with the abuser. That actually happens all around the world. Hell, for all we know there could be some type of Stockholm syndrome going on. Neither of us knows exactly what's going on inside the walls of SME. We don't know how they, metaphorically speaking, twist the arms behind the backs of their employees. We don't know what all was discussed between the five of those men. I highly doubt that one day JYJ just woke up and said "fuck this shit, I'm out." No. Who does that? They were all scared, but JYJ couldn't deal with it anymore. That's how it looks to me. That's pretty cut and dry. They couldn't deal so they seized the moment. Homin (whether you call them that or not) decided not to. That's their business though. It's been four years now. Both groups have been successful. The past is not going to change no matter how many documents you post or rants you ATTEMPT to serve me. You need to get over yourself.

Who is everyone? Because most artists in SM haven't left. So if we are talking about most people then wouldn't you believe the ones who stayed put because they are the majority? They can't all being lying either. You make it sound like most of them left SM. Yes fear can lead people to do crazy things but Yunho and Changmin didn't do anything crazy. They followed their principles and followed their hearts not to leave. That is why from the very beginning they refused to join the cosmetics business even though JYJ and their families told them how big it was going to become. They refused to leave even when they didn't know what their futures held.
I'll tell you what fear can do? Fear can lead people to lie against people they say they love and are family by holding secret meetings. it leads to find the quickest of absolving themselves of any responsibility of the split and imply it is others to blame.Then they keep quiet as they watch their fans severely bash said people and their families because they rather have fan support at all costs. That is what JYJ and their families did to TVXQ and their families and there is proof. If they weren't scared why hold a secret meeting with only admin form JYJ fansites? Why not all admin from all five members fansites? Why secret? Only cowardice led to such selfish and manipulative actions.
Who was constantly abused? How were they abused? Do you have any proof? Did JYJ say SM abused them? Why didn't they have them arrested and taken them to criminal court instead of civil court? We don't know everything that goes on in SM, that's why we shouldn't imagine we know. I listened to both sides and what Yunho and Changmin said in their statements rings true plus they don't contradict themselves. You're going on the premise that only Yunho and Changmin out of the five boys arms were twisted? Why? Do you think JYJ's arms couldn't have been twisted? Why not? Do you think they are above it? Who got them involved with the cosmetics business? Yunho and Changmin said in their statements they were approached individually by the cosmetics business and they declined. How do you know JYJ's arms weren't twisted with promises of making big money? JYJ's families were involved with the business and to this day profit off JYJ's fame in their daily lives in their jobs. TVXQ's families don't profit from their son's fame in any way. They support them quietly. At the time of the split who had more opportunities out of the five boys? And who waited for the things to get resolved patiently until JYJ moved on first? Or do you think SM was busy abusing them into submission and quietness?

No JYJ didn't just leave SM. They made plans and knew what they were going to do next. They thought the cosmetics business was going to be huge because they'd planned all five would be involved. Two refused to get involved and yet the business was already using all five members to promote their products.
JYJ woke up to the fact they thought they could make more money outside of SM. They were impatient and wrongly thought they were making more money than they actually were. Remember why they filed the lawsuit. Profit distribution and the long contract.
When were JYJ scared? What exactly were they scared of? Please try and write something based on facts. You've heard of those haven't you? Just because you think you know doesn't mean you do. That's why facts are important. What's pretty cut and dry? Have you actually listened to anything they've said and watched their actions?
It would be TVXQ's business if JYJ hadn't involved Yunho and Changmin in their drama. If their families hadn't got them severely bashed because they were scared they would lose the fans so chose to imply in the 6.25 meeting that the split was Yunho and Changmin's fault. It would be their business if JYJ hadn't written ambiguous tweets that led to TVXQ getting bashed because JYJ couldn't come out and say what they actually meant. They chose to write in riddles knowing how the fans would react to their implications.
