would have no problem with a complete tour of your favorite issues from this omnibus, love broome’s imagination as a creator and with artists like adams, aparo or even cameos of the magnitude of grandenetti… very few second (or even third) tier characters have a pedigree of pencillers at the level of the stranger pure atmospheric bliss, with a lot of imaginative and interesting writers wanting to play with it too

Great overview! I've been curious about this character since seeing him in swamp thing. I don't think the entire omnibus is for me, but I'm going to try to find the Secret Origins that's at the end.
I am reading Book of Magic Omnibus Vol 1 an have the Phantom Stranger on my shelf it be nice if DC comics would do a Omnibus of Dr Fate . I also Have the Warth of Spector .
Omnidog, you're so right. FOMO has me wanting to buy this book because of all the hype. I do appreciate the Golden Age, but the stories are not my cup of tea. The art though looks good. After watching your review, FOMO will not get to me for this one. Thanks for all you do. Cheers!

I have a question, I enjoyed the Question omnibus and thought about picking up Phantom Stranger. So the question is, considering I enjoyed the Question do you think I'd enjoy this? I'm reading the Batman Adventures Omnibus right now, and I love it, maybe because I loved the animated series. I'm actually jumping between the Batman Adventures and Batman Ninja Turtles Omnibus (phenomenal story, by the way). I like the Adventures book because each issue is open and closed story. Some issues will have act 1 or 2 or 3. I
That's a tough one as the Phantom Stranger contains golden, silver and bronze age and the Question is bronze verging on modern. Plus the Question benefits from having Denny O'Neil writing a ton of it. If you enjoyed Spectre or Deadman, you'd enjoy this because of the DC supernatural universe but I'm not sure you'd dig this based on your enjoyment of the Question (which is a great book!)
I have The Question omnibus and I love The Question. As soon as I saw this book hit the market I knew I had to have it instinctively as a fan of The Question. The Phantom Stranger omnibus is in my shopping cart! 😊 Hope this helps.
