Mudhoney should get the “map” credit & should’ve been the ones to get rich & famous, IMHO. But, then again, Arm probably wouldn’t have gone on to do The Monkeywrench & Bloodloss projects. The latter being a curious collaboration, considering it was Stu Spasm’s (Lubricated Goat) band, minus him, + Mark. Who knows?

Hiya Gabe!…Quick Q-Do you like Smooth Jazz?….I’ve been listening to mid-period Spyro Gyra(1986-1990) and wow what an interesting time for them, the album “Stories Without Words”(1987) in particular is outstanding as they began to explore more progressive styles…Thanx for the vid!

Not really into smooth jazz. I did pick up a Spyro Gyra cd (Carnaval?) to try ‘em out, not really for me.

I can dig that, but check out “Rites Of Summer”(1989), easily their most progressive album….

Nirvana released their 1st album Bleach a year before Man In The Box came out. AIC were alt metal not grunge.
