I always give those "try on" haul videos the side eye - especially when the people posting them are posting every week and getting the most stuff from multiple stores...
The content game is brutal and with these apps and their ever-changing algorithms it’s hard for creators to see growth. I get it but it’s the dishonesty and lack of integrity for me. Just be real with your audience

I think the haul/return thing happens a lot! Especially with luxury items. Like there's no way every luxury bag you buy has a defect and has to be returned. You speaking on it let's me know I'm not crazy when that thought crossed my mind and I wondered if that was a thing.
It’s definitely a thing. The problem is the fronting and the flexing. Just be real. We are content creators our job is to create content, the buying and returning isnt the issue, it’s the selling a lifestyle that you don’t even live that’s the problem

Your transparency is what I’ve ALWAYS love about you!!!!’ I’m so glad someone FINALLY called out what I suspected all along with these haul videos (which is why I stopped watching them).
Nothing more annoying than seeing a blogger upload a video every other day about how she did a ZARA haul, or a H&M haul spending $300 or $400 each time, even having the NERVE to leave the price tags on the clothes in the video!
Some would even go as far as to criticize a particular garment about the color, style or fit, and I’d be sitting at home like, “didn’t you see or know all of this before you bought the item and left the store”????? It’s so TACKY, and I think it undermines a content creator’s credibility. I called out a couple in their videos and they never clapped back, lol!
