Seeing the overhead view if Leitchland Farm where my Grandfather (James Marshall) and GREAT grandfather (David Marshall) lived & worked from 1850's is amazing . Sure is misty though, not bright & sunny like here in Australia. Grandfather James married Jessie Robertson in 1910 & emigrated to Australia at that time.
leitchland house used to be a lovely big house and grounds , not sure who owned it before callum kennedy but may have been connected to stoddards carpet works , sadly thats gone too , i vaguely remember a family with children a garden and the field down to the burn , the farm was still going that i know of , good you have that info , were they paisley folk ?
@@PaisleyScotland Aw well. That explains it. I would have wanted to test it out myself too without delay. Unfortunately, I tested mine in an area that was not the best, even though it was quite a large and open space. I couldn't control it yet though, as it was my first time with a drone. On the first go, it got trapped in a bush and burned out one of the rotors. I'll need to see if it can be repaired. Æ 😪
@@BuddyBoy68 nightmare.... my first drone I took to Robertson park and flew right into a bush within five minutes my bepob was dead lol quite a learning curve...
@@PaisleyScotland I was thinking of taking mine up Robertsons carpark, as I like go there now and again, during the day obviously, but I tested mine when I was over in Thailand, earlier this year. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to use it since that first time. Aw well, as you say, a learning curve. Æ
Awesome... Not been up that way for years, All the trees/bushes are bigger unless that's an optical illusion (being viewed from above them)
the trees have taken over they are huge now..

Good video, but it's a shame you didn't choose a clearer day to record. Æ
