    I feel bad for AD at this point. Could you imagine how frustrating it is to get hurt this much. He gets in his rhythm, becomes a top 5 player, gets hurt, misses a month and has to start all over again.

      I honestly think he gets hurt cause he doesnt care about his legs and ankle. I remember watching a video on ankle strengthening in which it was revealed by the creator of the video that most athletes , especially hard wood and indoor sports playing athletes like NBA athletes, eventually suffer an ankle injury. However the person said that most of these athletes never get injured again AND recover once they start training and strengthening their ankles. Here is the video: ruclips.net/video/mr0YhNAc4a8/видео.html
      When Curry was facing ankle injury after ankle injury his personal trainer in 2015 told him to strengthen his hips cause the musculature in his ankles showed that he was as strong as he could possibly be in his ankles. His personal trainer wanted some of the load to go over to Curry's hips and from where Curry is now....I think we can agree that it really worked, right? I think AD is uninformed of this and chooses to continue to remain uninformed.

      @@injusticeanywherethreatens265 actually it's curry's ankle braces that saved him. It was found that curry's neurovascular connections where fewer in his ankles which meant his brain wasn't fully capable of sensing his ankle in space and he was able to roll over it easily, even if he strengthened it. Foot Doctor Zach went over it in a recent video. Perhaps AD has a similar problem and his mass compounds the issue.

      And he has the perfect partner for that in LeBron. Heck, that's basically the reason why they won the 2020 bubble championship. LeBron led the league in assist that season, and it's primarily because of AD picking up baskets in the rim.

    • @t4d0W
      @t4d0W 2 года назад +2

    • @12gark
      @12gark 2 года назад +3

      @@lordpaulphilippfernandez9904 in 2020 they basically never run pick and roll with LeBron. AD's jumper was ridiculously effective, so they didn't play any pick and roll basically. It was a lot of "your turn, my turn", and a big chuck of LeBron's assist came to other players or in transition, where Davis would just leak immediately without fighting for rebounds (they had plenty of size to do it), get the ball on a very long pass from LeBron and just dunk it on top of a smaller defender with zero or one dribble before any big man could catch up to put up any resistance at the rim. Rondo played al lof of pick and roll with AD in the bubble, but it was completely a different scenario, starting way outside the paint, with Rondo somehow hitting 45% of his jumpshots and working like your regular pull up threat.
      Now both LeBron and AD are functionally big forwards, going both close to the basket and using angles and sheer strength and size to gain an advantage, old style basketball at its best. And Westbrook is basically doing the exact same: getting a head of steam instead of relying on sheer size and strength, using AD and then attacking a closeout or throwing it up for AD depending on what the big man does.

Its more like 'can a team take advantage of his talents and put him in a situation to play at the highest level'? Because you get enough guys who have that elite talent like his but are never in a situation where they are playing with an equally elite playmaker/scorer to help exploit the one consistent core strength of their game. But also lowkey do people not realize that Kawhi has played less games since coming to LA? ADs unique body type along with his biomechanics already made him ultra prone to injury. Remember he entered the league with that recurring shoulder issue. Then as he is playing in his prime years, he's had other unique injuries to him like leg/ankle injuries along with big man ailments like foot injuries nipping at him. A possession-by-possession video analysis of Embiid's season reveals that he has fallen 244 times since the start of the 2018-19 campaign, which comes out to 3.3 times per game or roughly one fall for every 10 minutes the Sixers center spends on the court.
      How does that falling down stack up? Although no falls-per-36-minutes metric exists on a league-wide scale, we studied five games of video on five other players known for regularly denting the floor: Ersan Ilyasova, who led the NBA this season in drawing charges; Blake Griffin, second in charges; Jusuf Nurkic, who, like Griffin, gets hit constantly; Russell Westbrook, perhaps the sport's most aggressive player; and James Harden, the reigning MVP who drives to the basket -- and, well, flops -- more than anyone.
      The takeaway: Embiid indeed belongs on the NBA's Mount Rushmore of Frequent Fallers. He falls more often, on a per-minute basis, than Griffin (every 14 minutes), Nurkic (every 13 minutes) and Westbrook (every 12 minutes) and at roughly the same rate as Ilyasova (every nine minutes) and remains upright a bit more frequently than Harden (every eight minutes). But among true big men -- those with farther to fall and bigger bones to bust -- Embiid stands alone in his inability to remain standing.

      Bubble AD I think was a specific thing considering he was also not at 100% then either. He only had at least 21 games to push himself to near 100% playing form. Still impressive considering dude was guarding the opposing teams' best wing scorer in the finals at the perimeter.

    Anthony Davis has a unique type of body that makes him a bit uncoordinated when in extreme offensive plays against other bodies. His legs are just all over the place when he comes back to the ground.
    You can't jump between two bodies under the basket with one leg skyrocketing horizontally expecting to land well on your feet.
    He should go through a complete rebuilt of his basketball movements from the ground up like Curry did for his ankles, or even Zion for that matter, who seems to have fixed his landing.
    That body it's his gift and his curse, but he has to figure it out or he'll wear out.

    This just proves that no matter how good a player is, if they stay standing in the corner, they won't be able to showcase their talent and impact the game like they can. Another evidence that heliocentric offense is awful and that Luka is not alone, the mass just don't use their players properly

    0:25 Glass man, he's literally like that guy from the Glass movie and must suck. I think his injuries are in big part his responsability cause he insist in a very physical style instead of building other weapons to suplant that, he could become a versatile player like Jok and Joel but he doesn't. It's like humans insisting to lifting more weight than their are capable of or trying to break sound barrier, physical limitations are natural and spread out in every facet of life, it isn't to circunvent them.

AD played the PF with McGee/DHoward playing the Center position. it resulted in a ring. why fix what wasnt broken. 3 years since then. 3 years making him play center. 3 years of injuries. see the correlation??!??!

    He is a matchup nightmare. With small ball being so popular he’ll punish you when you have too many small guards out there and going against 4’s who play in the 5 slot is too easy for him. True centers are not fast enough to keep up with him his elite handles
