So, I'm still too new to know all of the logistics but you can 5-stack ranks from Iron to Diamond (I think but could have been Plat) in ranked. This can be done only if you are 5-stacking and there is a warning that it will take a while to get a match and that the RR gained will be less. It will not allow this in duos or 3-stacks.
You can 5 stack any rank from iron to radiant but the rr gain will be less and it will take alot longer to find a match
