It's the calmness of our sisters for me 😊. South African women are calm and queening in every space. Not to mention that they are gorgeously different. I'm reminded of all these distinct characteristics of our women by watching you Tebogo. 😀
Yes lecturers really want you to pass guys and they always say (at least the Unis I went to), if you have a problem, come to my office, and I'll try to help. I remember there was a course I struggled with and even when I thought yah, this time I did well in this essay, I would still be in the 50s. I went to the lecturer and told him I'm struggling, I don't know where I'm going wrong, and he sat me down and explained to me. When we wrote the exam, after they had collected the papers, he came to my desk and asked if I was okay and how the exam went.
Hi Grace. This reaction-follow up format is quite clever and unique, I like it. Culture shock content should be informative and educational first and foremost, shout out to our sister Tebogo for her calm and measured inputs. This was quite a balanced convo overall... no insults, no ridiculing or belittling of the other person's native country's norms and traditions; we NEED this kind of interaction as Africans.
If you talking about SA, this is not true cause ppl handle this difference the legal way is to apply for a court eviction which is long process or the landlord then throws you out if you don't move🫣
As a Nigerian I watch Zulu traditional dances a lot..in Bini traditional ceremony here in Southern Nigeria we have so many ritual dances as well.. Africans should celebrate their cultures... one love From Nigeria
You can breastfeed in public because you can't tell a baby to stop feeding, however you have to use either a scarf or the bay blanket to cover your breasts and the child to respect others as you're not in your private space

Exactly, that’s another point though😂
