The ancient Aztec Technology applied in Tenochtitlan before the time of Cortez in Mexico City can be applied in the Liguasan Marsh. It consist of corduroy rafting for the placement of mud debris. The raft shall be anchored in place by stakes on the perimeter. The area between rafts shall be excavated and the excavated debris shall be placed on the corduroy rafts. The excavated area will be used as waterways and fish culture areas. The rafts will float so that that it can be used as planting areas. The rafts will float, the debris used are half sinkers, so that flooding won't be a problem.
