That Tarot beam engine is the best bang for buck and most useful Stirling engine available IMHO. I have had one for many years and it never disappoints. Cheers Rob
Thanks Jürgen, someone has suggesting using some needle nose pliers on the rivet and squashing it a little to cause some more friction and I think that is the answer and will give it a go.
Nice to see you back Jim. That is a beautiful engine, and I love the drop hammer. I'm sure you'll be able to adjust the clutch mechanism. ATB Cheers Nobby
Nice video Jim! Could you make another video of either this engine or the Huxtable Stirling engine running? These hot air engines are fascinating. -Stephen
@@SteamEngines-Jim Thanks Jim! I was wondering, could you do a video on using one of your supaburners on your hot air engines? Just curious to see how that would perform vs a bix burner. -Stephen
Neat video. What do you think it will take to fix the drop hammer? Maybe tighten up the rivet on the the engagement handle? Mine came without the engagement handle so I just rigged it to run all the time.

Mines a firm fav to take down off the shelf and run Rob...enjoy the weekend mate - Cheers Jim
The engine is running nicely. The hammer can certainly be fixed! 👍
As always,,,,thanks :)
A nice Stirling and a smooth runner. The clutch of the drop hammer can certainly be readjusted.

Thanks Nobby, as always much appreciated mate.
Very nice Jim, I reckon it might run a small generator? Give it a go.
I shall have to have a go trying to run a genny Clinton

G'day Rick, yes I think a gentle squeeze of that rivet should make it stay in place and stop that slipping.
Are these still for sale anywhere?
If you Google Tarot Stirling Engine you should be able to find a reseller (usually a Chinese company).
