Arijit tweeted after the song got released, he knew that there would be a backlash.
he tweeted :

Moreover when someone asked him why did he say yes to the remake -
He replied that
"The makers has promised me a yearly fund for a school for underprivileged."

Actually Arijit sang the Pasoori remake only beacuse makers promise him to give the fund for Studies of under privileged children.

Oh that's nice of him! Atleast something good came out of it cause other wise the remake was terrible! I truly do despise t-series for ruining good songs
It is definitely a poor reason if not excuse. I mean he is arijit singh, he definitely have projects Goin on through which he can fund.
Not saying he isn't generous enough or he committed some big blunder by doing the remake but he can definitely say no to things if legally /morally /physically /mentally doesn't suit him.
Otherwise it's all fair if legalities permit but also we have right to put our thoughts

Everybody hatesss the PASOORI REMAKE. the internet went crazy with memes and questioning arijit as to why he did it.
He did it to support some NGO, so he was asked to remake pasoori firstly he said no but then he asked to donate to some NGO so he did it.

"Adipurush " is trash not because of visual but also epic history of "Ramayan" modification and dialogues are worst and castings are wrong from the very beginning. Just the songs are The likable things for me. If you see the serial or old movies or animes of this epic history you will understand then. Btw love from India
Visuals are bad as well. The quality of VFX is not good. Nor the conceptual art. It could have been ignored if they got the script, costumes, dialogues and acting etc right. But somehow they manged to ruin even that.

What do you mean by Arijit ONLY, many new age singer's music is coming like Vishal Mishra darshan rawal & Arman Malik's New song is coming out in 2-3 days & Salim sulema & Amit Mishra ( just gave qala album ) are music directors not singers ,and if you are music lover you would know the upcoming song of most of singers and will listen to it. @@O2H3 they are getting chance and doing songs but masses are not listening it's not Arijits fault that man is harming no one, from this month some shit started stating like ' only Arijit doin songs other are not getting chance ' ...bla bla but they won't listen others song... and Ankit Tiwari has song called 'hareya ' very beautiful song (sadly not even 1M) if you wanna check out.
And all the artists you've mentioned wanted to do good music of their own not just sing Bollywood crap , so they're busy making their music on their respective channel including Arijit himself.

Hi guys, you have previously watched the sanam band and enjoyed their music. They have a real knack for re - doing covers and giving it a modern touch. This applies to their original works too. Great lyrics and arrangements. Pls try listening to some of their original music. They have some real great tunes out there. "Main hoon, shama hai jali, jaane de mujhe, nazron ko nazron se" ect.

EFRA, how do you know if Adipurush was garbage? Have you seen the movie? You don’t seem to know that that PR campaign was targeted at Saif Ali Khan because of his genetic background and because he’s an insider. All his movies are being targeted and trashed without the same chance as others because of these reasons. He’s always been woefully underrated for these reasons but the Lobby has stepped up their game and appealing to the masses even more. If he was an outsider, they would be hailing him as the King of acting lol. He’s such a nice guy too. Same thing they’re doing to Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor too.

Hey guys can you do a full reaction and review of the Nasha song (original and remake) for some reason I can't bring myself to love the remake because of the female singer. Also didn't really like how in the remake the singer can't take their name like he did in the original because if you listened to punjabi songs before mostly all singers or song writers names are taken in the songs.

I guess they should have left the originals as originals a few of them the new version is just spoilt the feel of the song like, aur iss Dil me , Dil deewana bin sajna ke, Zara Zara , tum mile , accha sila Diya tune mere pyaar ka should have been left alone. Sonu Nigam too did remake of yaar mangaysi and many more but they turned out to be better than original , that's why he is called lord of chords. remakes are good until they justify the original but for charity there are many ways. the remake of pasoori literally sucks in Arijit's version .

Remastered songs are no problem for me if they bring it back with same singers, but i hate these cheap cash grab remakes. Like wtf u doin do something new rather than making worse remakes by mixing electro pop garbage. But it is new bollywood so what can we expect just steal movies songs and take advantage of people nostalgia.
