honestly, props to both teams - i think either team winning would've been a great result since both teams are strong enough to rep the US, showing musicality in different ways - whether jovial's skilled voice and clutch's unforgettable bass harmonies, or hershe's experience with live music showing through her beatbox and inertia's basslines... i look forward to seeing more from both teams in the future, and i hope equilibrium try their hand at the next ABC's too. ^^

I think equilibrium won the first round, and the second round was a tie. Bad decision, but respect to both.
i agree, i think king inertia and hershies other rounds were much stronger than the ones in the finals.
I can feel you, but I guess they had a better structure in terms of getting the best of both worlds, but either team who won woud have been fine, it was pretty close

being there live, inertia and hershe were much stronger and im not surprised from the result, though i think both teams sounded better live
IMO the 1st round was a tie (maybe slightly towards Equilibrium) and KI and Hershe won the 2nd round comfortably.

The announcer at the end wouldn't shut up. She is assigning Hershe as the first "women tag team winner". I think this HUGELY discredits her. Just say gg's to the team, but don't solo her out like that and putting her in an unimportant category. All you have to say is; "She is a great Beatboxer". Plain. And. Simple...
i dont really mind that cause its indeed rare to see women winning a category but i wish Kaila would also mention KI as much as Hershe cause they are tag team champion
also fun fact if im not mistaken, Beat On (Olya Keks and K-Pau) in Russia Champs 2019 is actually the first all woman tag team to win a competition
edit: i was wrong actually, Burd (Bellatrix and Grace Savage) is actually the first all woman tag team to win a competition, plus they are 2x champs

Also, maybe if you can’t recognize Kaila, “The announcer at the end”, you may not know enough about the history of the scene to know how crucial that is to point out.

Hershe’s solid, and for tag team there are more important factors than their ability as a solo beatboxer. Inertia’s had other tag team partners, but he said he works better creatively with Hershe. Also her soundset compliments his well and her experience as a DJ helps a lot with putting together good routines. Plus they haven’t even been practicing together that long so they still have a lot of room to grow.
