Love this so much... my girls are 19,13,11 now and books were the biggest part of our lives when they were little, from being babies in their cots we read them a story until they hit around 7 and wanted to read by themselves..(which broke our hearts a little 😩) they could all read early and have always had advanced reading ages and been so good at spelling and grammar... every teacher has asked us do we have a lot of books at home? They always said they can tell which children are read too and have books readily available at home.. which makes me really sad for the kids that don’t.. this has carried on and helped them with SATS and GCSEs! You are doing such a amazing and helpful thing for P having books in her life!!! I will say they don’t read as much as they used too because they are more interested in iPads and laptops but I’m hoping when they become adults they will fall in love with books again! Xxx
Aww thankyou! That’s horrible to know some children don’t have access to books, they are so crucial in development! Like you say, I’m waiting for the day she goes off them, but if she’s anything like me, she’ll be hooked on them again when she’s older! 💗💗
Love this so much. I had completely forgotten about the usborne farmyard books with the little duck! Just arranged go buy some for my daughter off a selling site locally. And I'm definately going to start saving books for the advent calender such a good idea! Thank you x
Yayyy! Have fun 😘 they are such lovely books! The book advent is so fun, if P has been a good girl, tinsel (our elf (what is my life)) brings her book out at night time before bed! xxx
Me and my brothers used to love where’s wally when we was children, even remember doing them as a teenager! Never gets boring and great for long car journeys 😀 hope you are well and had a good wedding anniversary. A year already, time flys !! Xxx
New subscriber here! Binged watched all of your videos over the last few days and love your realness and honesty! Just wanted to leave a quick message to say that i think you're a real inspiration by showing the ups and downs of motherhood, the meltdowns, tantrums, tiredness, struggles and you are an amazing mother to P! Please take no notice of any hateful comments because she is blessed to have you as is Neil. Also loved this video and would appreciate one for the 1-3 age range if you get the time as i'm also obsessed with children's books! I adore Jan Brett books, especially her Christmas ones ( The Hat, The Mitten, Who's knocking on Christmas eve, Christmas Trolls, Gingerbread Baby etc) and also Mary Engelbreit so if you like really traditional vintage illustrations check them out! ( Also a Christmas freak and counting down the months!😂 Sending love and looking forward to more vids and vlogs! ❤️
Aww thankyou so much, that’s so kind of you to say so 💗 I will do a younger book suggestions soon, need to raid the attic for them! Hahaha nothing wrong being a Christmas addict 🙊 xxx
I agree, we hardly ever get books for gifts. I always buy my niece and nephews books as part of their gift, get books as new baby gifts as well instead of clothes. They are so much more loved than most gifts (if you get the right books!)
Thank you great suggestions - I agree on the charity shop comment - no idea why you would spend the money on brand new books when you get some great deals would love a similar video for two year olds please xx
Exactly! It’s crazy money when you compare. Unless it’s a new release your desperate for, I usually hunt around C shops or carboots! Of course, il film that ASAP 💗 xxx

Wonderful video so much helped me to select books for my son! I am Japanese and try to teach my son English, and he is 3 years old. If you have any recommended books to learn English for toddler, could you tell me please?
I’d love to hear what your book recommendation would be! I’m just finishing my degree so I have loads of time to get back into reading so would love to hear about different authors and books...I’m currently into war stories but would like to have some others to try out ☺️ Also, thank you for being so real and honest on your RUclips !!
