Also technically, Gabora and Neronga use Pagos’s body and head since they appear afterwards.
Shin Ultra could have been so much better if they would have spent a few more dollars and had the science patrol and a good set with them flying the jets and firing the laser guns. Instead they had a cheap office and didn’t really do anything.
ok and this was supposed to be a more grounded realstic verison of the oringal show, do you think that japan would give the money, that could be used for the military/ reconstruction of cities, to a squad of 5 people who just give reports and analyze kaiju
Just goes to show how much Shin Ultraman payed respects to the original series, and even Ultra Q (which is something I’m pleasantly surprised by)

I'm impressed on how the creators of this film made many references from the classics, towards this film.
They even use Ultra Q soundtrack during the first 10 minutes which caught me by surprise.

Shin Ultraman is more grounded, less scifi world. Meanwhile OG Ultraman is more advance (Laser,VTOL jets, space base and exploration,etc)
