      This guy took a whole day and just wiggles the motor and didn’t get it out till next day. Tore the whole thing down and didn’t take off the front drive assembly and water pump. Hmmmmm

      bringing it to hi9m. Christ, he didn't even remove the hood. It would be so much easier to remove the hood, and remove the radiator, and everything on the front of the engine in about an hour. Then there is nothing but open space all around. remove the exhaust, and bellhousing. It looks like he did it thee hard way to me. I am not making a video, but anyone doing that work and leaving the hood on, can't be that bright.

    Just did this on my 2008 to rebuild the stinky leaky engine. Definitely not a fun process.Also, where did you buy the hood and widebody fenders from? Was there any fitment issues?

    • @NRMotorsports
      @NRMotorsports  4 года назад

      The wide body is from aci and it fits like a glove I have a full install video about six months back and the hood was bought at a swap meet it’s an Anderson composite hood fits perfect as well

    i watched a video on installing a new clutch in a c5 and i gotta say, i can't Amagine why everyone is taking the whole ass end of the car apart and removing the trans, torque tube, rear suspension ect to replace the clutch. looks easier to pull the motor. am i high?

    • @NRMotorsports
      @NRMotorsports  Месяц назад

      Way easier to pull the motor maybe if i had a lift I’d pull the rear end but I can have the motor in and out in 5 hours

    I have everything out/disconnected on my corvette c6 engine is there anyway you can lead me through on how to pull it? Im stuck on the torque tube part.

    • @NRMotorsports
      @NRMotorsports  3 года назад

      You have to disconnect your steering rack and slide it out of the way to get enough space to pull it

    Please tell me how you got the car off the ground high enough, I can get my car up but not high enough, I’m a pretty big guy trying to do this

    • @NRMotorsports
      @NRMotorsports  Год назад +1

      I use four sets of jack stands with the big harbor freight jack I put the whole car on all four smaller regular car jack stands than I take the bigger ones for trucks and jack up the front on those and the back after so it ends up being like 2 ft off the ground

    • @NRMotorsports
      @NRMotorsports  Год назад +1

      It’s a lot of time but once it’s on the truck jack stands it’s super solid and your able to move around under the car

    Was the rear end still in the car when you took motor out? 😱

    • @NRMotorsports
      @NRMotorsports  Год назад +1

      Yes sir you can pull the motor without taking the torque tube or the rear end out, it’s even easier if you take out the spring and switch to coilovers

    didn't even remove the hood? Takes 2 minutes. Makes me wonder if this is the right video to follow. Remove the hood firdt. then remove everything on the front of the engine, and the exhsust within about an hour and a half, and have all the room in the world to remove the engine. I can't believe the dude is lifting it from the side.
